I've fished peg 1 on pine once purely because most other pegs were taken. I had a great day and the one and only time i looked behind me, Mr May happened to be walking past and i'd literally just put my biggest fish back - a 10lber. Had a little chat to Andy too as he stopped to put some rubbish in the bins..luvverly fella :)

Great podcast loved the banter keep it going what was the pole and kit you had when you first started pole fishing and tha best one you have had if you are aloud to say any way thight lines .loved it nice to see and hear Rich taking part as well .
Would be interested to watch you watching old fishing programmes like John Wilson or matt Hayes and discussing how fishing has changed and what you would do differently
what sort of area do andy and jamie fish is it midlands and do they ever go to more areas, like wales, i know des shipp has been here to fish matches, wondered if they had been here as well
The Glebe in August this year is my first ever qualifier match that I've entered. How many nets would you suggest taking, have heard of ridiculous weights coming out of there?
Great podcast guys :). Following on from this Podcast would like to hear why End Pegs often win matches is it just that there is more space to fish or should they be roped off so that you only have the same space as every other peg?

Be interesting to hear your thoughts on where you think the next big thing might come from and how you got into/developed some of the new methods such as the no float rig etc. Is it all word of mouth or have you found something in a quirky/lucky manner? Just as an aside remember using something like your girlie spread shot rig on the Stainy many years ago think John Illingworth did an article in one of the fishing mags a lot heavier/deeper rigs but the same principle.

Peg 2 on old pine lake got me hooked on fishing as a kid. Meat short and in the edge absolutely emptied it 🎣
