Question. Are these aftermarket manufacturers too dumb to take these factors into consideration? If so, why buy their parts. Something doesn’t make sense here. Grinding valve stems to fit? Not gonna go there.

Well, you are quite judgemental, first, they are HIGH LIFT heads, when used as DESIGNED for HIGH LIFT there is no way the stock covers will fit, we all know that going in. What we DONT know is, if we choose not to RACE them at 10k rpm around a track, what they are designed for, and instead, try to create a never before available 4 stroke option for ultrlaight aircraft, will a cam with LESS LIFT allow the covers to fit. There is no way the manufacturer would know, NOR CARE, about that. They are racing. As for grinding the valve stems, that was MY IDEA in order to keep the STOCK COVERS. However, that wont work, so instead, we will RAISE THE TOWERS. Some people are not inclined to support INNOVATION and QUESTIONING of how to do things, and they are better served usinga ROTAX that is no longer supported, or some other off the rack solution :)
