I am sure some people dig this, and that's fine. For my money, I would never spend this much money without double knees and double elbows and it drives me nuts that Mezco aren't upfront about what figures have what articulation scheme BEFORE they take pre- orders. The way they present their figures is a turn off for me. I'm not dropping that much scratch on what is essentially a mystery figure. I know they're not hurting just losing out on what I might spend, but there's no way I'm the only potential customer put off by their "don't know what you're getting till it shows up" way of doing things.

I have of course bought a few ML females over the years, and double knees and elbows aren't required for every female figure i buy, but I need to see SOMETHING that illustrates that the company is trying something different in articulation. Same goes for male figures too. Bottom line, I've collected figures over 30 years at this point, and I have a lot of nice pieces that I basically have to rotate into storage periodically because I have more figures than space. In order to keep feeding the beast, I had to start drawing lines somewhere, and I feel like there are several lines giving me definitive looks in terms of sculpt and paint, the thing that separates a good toy from a great toy is largely articulation (clearly, I'm only speaking for me, I know some collectors prefer sculpt or paint or accessories, whatever). So I started getting far pickier about the articulation of the figures I buy. I love female characters in action figure lines, and try to be supportive where I can, but I prioritize new or interesting articulation schemes over "favorite character" status or super detailed sculpts cuz honestly, I've pretty well got those covered already. I can make accessories, paint, do some light sculpting... I'm less adept at customizing new articulation. It's not to say I can't be lured into a gorgeous sculpt, but it's pretty rare these days. One final note, the TBLeague seamless bodies are a great example of "but points of articulation aren't the same as great posability," so like, I'm still in for a single hinge elbow, but it better be posable. I'm more intrigued by range of motion than by point count. Perhaps unlike some, I'm also unconvinced by any sentiment that implies that articulation that is ugly is inherently bad. All articulation is ugly, as in, breaks up a uniform sculpt, what I care about is where or not the break in the uniformity buys you posability. Action figures collectors who get hung up on great looking shoes make me angry, they're statue collectors without the power of introspection. Nothing wrong with statues, but be putrid of being a statue collector and stay the fuck away from action figure collectors. Nobody likes playing at "statue guy's house," you went over to other kids' houses to play with ACTION FIGURES.
Nice! She looks better than the advertized pictures but I'll have to pass on her. The icons is sufficient for me. Curious how she looked next to mafex batman though. Nice review!
The head sculpts are great. For that price point though, I’d like to see her actually able to do her gymnastic like movements. That’s a big part of her character.
Don't collect Mezco anymore (material QC concerns honestly) but I am always down for one of your reviews. Figure looks cool, nice photos at the end.. love that persona music + drumbeat.
Mezco stuff is insane! Hardest part is picking which head and accessories. You could easily buy three for multiple displays. But not on my salary. Rocket launcher is what sealed the deal on this one!

I got mine and the right hand is stuck on, the left one came off like normal and the right hand is still turning and posing, but it’s trying to come off at where the ball connects to the arm. I haven’t had a chance to try a hair dryer yet.

The transition to the accessories segment was a lot smoother than previously, I'm not one to complain over how the video is made because like, I can live with it, its no harm to me lol, but I do notice the over lap in what's being said, but this time its like " alright time to talk about the accessories /// here are the accessories " you're definitely getting the hang of the transition

I was thinking about single albow joints in Mezco's and my conclusion is: yes, they limit the articulation but when in clothes they make arms look more anatomicly corect. Double joint would be too ovall (like knee) for albows (witch are pointy - if U bend your arm fully). I think that was what Mezco was ameing at. Best of luck and ceep on doing a greate job!

i take it you don't buy most "female" characters from Marvel Legends, Star Ward Black Series etc. due to the "double joint" issue?
