Thanks for stopping by and watching my first run video.
I took the M41 to the puddle. To be fair the puddle isn’t really big enough for the M41 as it shrinks during the warmer months and becomes to small for boats during summer. However, it was ok today for a quick first run video.
I tried the boat on both 4s and 6s
I really enjoyed running this boat.
I will be taking this boat to a much bigger place of water as soon as i get chance too

I didnt realise how big these boats were until the postie delivered it lol. I had it delivered to my mums. The box was taller than her 😂. Hopefully in a few weeks time, i will be meeting up with the others again. I have a big lake that i have my eye on for all our boats. Gaz has also bought a full size dingy for us to use to retrieve our boats lol

Not quite Karl lol. Its a full size blow uo dingy for 1 person. No engine though lol. Just 2 hands to paddle with 😂😂😂

This puddle is not big enough. I have found a very large lake to go to. I will try to arrange a meet up with some of the others in a few weeks time. We are meeting up on Sunday but we are going to a crawling place. But i am excited to try the gps run my friend 👍

Cheers Gazza bro. I was well made up with this. On 6s it flies lol. I can’t wait to meet up with the lads and go to a proper lake because this puddle is a bit small at the moment. It will probably be ok after the summer months when it has rained for a few weeks but for now its a bit small. We will sort out a meet up Gaz 👍

The speed of the TRAXXAS M41 is amazing.
You can use 4S ~ 6S.
I've made two Taklimakan-type boats, but I didn't get much speed because it was a type that operated two brush motors at 7.2V each.

Wow mate, that was mesmerising to watch, silky smooth and music to the ears. You can tell this model is quality. I'm still amazed it can pull these kind of speeds with a single prop. I've seen boats like this with doubles and triples. Look forward to when you do fully open her up, but - like they once said on JAWS.....( kind of )........"YOU'RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER PUDDLE."..🤣🤣. Thanks a lot bro. Yes, this boat is only a single prop. The box speed is suppose to be around 50 mph which is dam fast on water lol. I will put the gps on it at some point on both 4s and 6s. I am led to believe the position of the batteries alters the stability and speed to. The batteries can be moved up and down the hull depending on water conditions. To be honest, this first run was just a bit of a play about. The puddle isn’t really big enough. I need to take it to a lake and i have my eye on one. You may know it. It’s just at the bottom of Rivington. If you drive from Horwich and head towards Chorley, there’s a massive lake on your right hand side just after horwich. It should be good for a bit of flat out speed runs lol
@@tiborvon Yeah, I think there are three lakes near where you say. They're called Upper and Lower Rivington reservoirs and Anglezarke reservoir. You won't have a problem letting it rip on those. We filmed our Axial Chevy Blazer video ( the one with American Pie music ) on the shoreline of one of those lakes. It was like a bloody inland sea..🤣.
I can’t just think what the lakes are called, but there is a massive one that is decided into 2 by a road that goes across it. Defo big lake though lol
@@tiborvon Yeah those 2 lakes divided by the road are called Rivington Upper and Lower Reservoirs. One thing though mate I'd be careful running the boat flat out if the waters are choppy. These lakes are so big they produce waves. The boat could easily flip at full tilt if the waters are choppy.

Its a beast Steve. I need to take it to a much bigger lake to be able to run it properly. I have my eyes set on a big lake at the bottom of Rivington, near to that pretend castle thing. I am going to try and arrange for a few of us with the boats to meet up there. I also want to get the gps onto it too and see what speed i can get out of it

@@tiborvon I know the lake you’re thinking of, I was stood by the side of it with the drone on the Rivington Castle video on my channel (notice the little plug there !!) 😀 not sure if you can park a bit closer on the other side near Adlington for easier access.
Yes, i remember now Steve. Theres a bit of parking on the that divides the lake. There also a little car park just after the road that divides the lake into two, behind a little school or nursery place

Thanks a lot bro. I am very happy with this boat. Run time mmmmmmmmmm. It depends on how big your batteries are. The 4s batteries were 4500 mah and the 6s ones were 5500 mah. I didnt run them exactly to the end and i didnt hit full throttle constantly. It’s hard to say really but i would say up to 15 minutes kind of. I will take note better next time i take it out.

Thanks Jimmy. I am not sure what scale it is to be honest. But it measures 1000mm long and 280mm wide. So its quite big. I didnt realise how big it was until it arrived at my house by the postman lol

Lolol. No Coach bro. In the Uk we call a Lake, a lake. I am not sure if you use the term puddle in your country. But i call this puddle, a puddle, because it actually is a puddle, only its a huge puddle. It’s not a lake and its not a pond. It literally IS a puddle. There is no life in this water, its only knee deep, there’s nothing in the water at all. During the summer it almost disappears and then during the wet and winter months it returns with all the rain. It really is a PUDDLE, all be it a large one lolol

$650 with 2-3s traxxas batteries and charger! Needless to say I flipped mine over today within 5min. Needless to say I spent more time on the recovery then I did anything else but it didn't sink and minimal water inside.
Oh dear lol. Everything in life has its own learning curve lol. These boats are pretty fast and definitely fun. I ran 2 x 2s in mine for my 1st run and then switched to 2 x 3s. Thankfully tou got your boat back and in one piece 👍👍 if the weather is ok on Saturday, i am hoping to take mine out agsin and fit the gps to it and see how fast it is
@@tiborvon I just installed the full traxxas telemetry 2.0 system with GPS, temperature and voltage sensors. Not cheap but with the cell phone mount on my receiver my top speed yesterday was 45mph with batteries all the way forward.
