I remember watching the season 1, it's funny watching Gervase doing it again and trying to redeem himself. :)
In korea, pig intestines are food, and its not that bad, since its cooked, it tastes just like sausages.
That's SOOOO different though. I'm in Korea right now and like, there's no way I would eat raw pig intestine, but the one here is fine because it's drenched in sauce, cleaned (This still had fecal matter in it according to Tyson) and you eat it with raw garlic or slices of onion... like, it doesn't even have taste, you just taste the sauce. Cooked with seasoning is of course going to be much better haha ;)
Apparently the pig intestines still had shit in them.

There's nothing wrong with eating dogs and cats when the whole world is eating pigs, chickens and cows. Cows are special in India so they don't eat it. Dogs and cats are special in america so they don't eat it. But think about it, India thinks it's weird that America is eating cow! this is a challenge where if you know you’re never gonna stomach your way through the three rounds, or is likely safe from being voted out, just drop out at the first stage immediately. way too gross to even be content with giving it a shot and not winning.
i bet a lot more people would try this challenge and do well in it, specifically those who say 'i could never do this and i wouldn't do it'. you guys have to remember that any food source in survivor is a blessing for your deprived body, regardless of the taste everything that was up in this challenge is safe to eat and is good nutrition. another thing that comes in play in this show is it brings out determination in people and you feel more competitive and willing to do whatever it takes to win and you need to have this mentality if you want a shot at the title and the million bucks.
monica is a true beast and i think a lot of people love and respect her based on how she performed in the show. as the wife of culpepper one could have judged her as the typical gold digger but they would be dead wrong. she's an amazing woman and a great person and i really admired her game all the way in this season

I have to disagree, though. this show isn't like naked and afraid-- they have enough food to keep them from actual starvation. their bodies are not so deprived that things like bugs or human flesh become more appetizing. a certain type of person goes on these types of game shows (and they are typically people who know that they can stand these challenges/are

We eat pig intestine in Filipino cuisine all the time. The only difference is they are fried and seasoned. I tried it and it's actually amazing.

I've never tried the worms myself, but I know people who have and they said the taste is very very sour (IIRC). Which means I would not like it since I don't really like sour food. But they are served in vodka in some countries.
