Been playing a lot of Tahm Kench this season (recently picked him up). Just wondering why you put 2 points in E then go into W. I usually Max E because I feel like my regen is insane, so I'm wondering why you level it this way!

It can really help a ton in matchups where you can’t really avoid damage as easily. Tahm is relatively immobile so someone like rumble, who does %max HP damage from a medium range, it can help a lot of overall just having that extra tiny increase of regen and slightly larger shields.
Also rumble himself is relatively immobile, it’s easier to land W on him than other champs and since he’s not really LONG range, you don’t desperately need the range increase of W in lane. (Also iirc points in W increases mana cost which is counter-intuitive to a good sustain in lane)
