    I love Chris's honesty. A lessor man would have cleaned up the block and hoses and then claimed to have put on the zip ties himself. Nice to know there are real men in NC.

    Oh all the YT channels I follow, this is the one that makes me the most happy to see the 'New Video' notification. I have to say it was impressive how accurate Chris was placing those load spreading boards on the trailer. Especially with a machine he has little experience on.

    The best tools for working in tight places among hydraulic lines is a set of Snap On 30*/60* open end wrenches. I used the heck out of mine under the back deck of backhoe's for a number of years.

    I recently bought an older Kubota mini ex to start my own little excavation business and it came setup to run john deere style. I too run cat pattern, and well I spent all my money on the machine and transporting it to the house from Dallas N.C so I was too cheap to swap the hoses and lose the fluid to change the pattern, lol...anyway now ive done changed my hands over and have gotten used to running john deere again, smh...Im gonna change it back eventually, I just never did quite like john deere style, it doesnt seem as natural to me. Love the videos, Chris. Keep up the good work, we all appreciate it.

    In the words of fellow youtuber Andrew Camarata would say "well that is Fixed" lets get to work. Both take pride in the work that is done. Great small business owners on here anyone see why none are shy on getting work. Enjoy the videos and the building of an awsome dream homestead. Next is an enclosed shop built with others like Cotton top and logger wade with a hog roast.

    I’m a hitachi and John Deere service fitter in Australia and I had to do a similar job on a EX8000 digger after a shut down some hoses weren’t correctly connected to the pumps/regulators and pumps weren’t ramping up and ramping down and power increase wasn’t working. Painful but got it sorted in the end. Wish the big diggers has everything so close! Haha good work though mate!

    Okay, this can't be a good sign. The swamp pads are being loaded, therefore something is going swimming.
    I like the idea of randomly replacing the pilot lines back on the valve. A new unforeseen pattern could be very entertaining.

      On last night's video, we saw him prepping a pond for mud removal, so that's what I'm assuming that the mud mats were being loaded for. I'm also assuming that this Hitachi video was shot the same evening after he drained the water and pushed some mud, and was probably going to haul the mats to that jobsite the next morning (which has probably passed us by already).

    • @erinloyd5535
      @erinloyd5535 ปีที่แล้ว

      Which hoses go where?

    • @gametlogging1942
      @gametlogging1942 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@erinloyd5535 shoot it's been a long time. What machine do you have? My John Deere which is identical to the Hitachi but I think years 92 to like year 97 is what mine covers. But most the time they are all the same unless it's newer. But mine there is a pilot block under a small panel. Hoses going in from the engine side and hoses heading out to the joysticks. There are 4 hoses that are closest to the swing on that block that are coming from the engine side. I'd say if you are sitting in the cab they would be the 4 hoses on the right side of the block on the engine side. Just cross those hoses in an x pattern and that should change it if it's one of those years of Deere or Hitachi.

    I modified a wrench for working on hoses on a manifold. Took and cut a bite out of the box end so it still mostly wraps around but has enough opening to clear the hose at the narrow part. Still need a good quality wrench to do that with or the cut box end will flex easily and just not be worth doing. Can still put some torque on it it's a decent quality. Sure makes life easy on that one job but now the wrench is still only good at the box end unless you get another manifold job. I make and modify tools all the time. Cut one in half to make the handle longer and things like that.
