In my opinion , Black money will increase in real estate after this change since now people will sell their properties without considering indexation cost and definitely people from stock market should switch into real estate since they can save taxes by reinvesting the profit at least in real estate.

This video provides an excellent breakdown of the 2024 budget’s impact on real estate and personal finance!
The additional 10 lakh crore for urban housing is a significant move.
It’s great to see that 1 crore people will benefit from affordable housing initiatives.
Government’s plan to regulate the rental market is much needed.
Reducing stamp duty for women can encourage more homeownership.
The changes in long-term and short-term capital gains taxes will have a notable impact on investors.
The shift to a flat 12.5% long-term capital gain tax rate is a major change.
The focus on reducing cash transactions in real estate is a positive step towards transparency.
The benefits to clean builders and the formal market will be substantial.
The encouragement for states to reduce stamp duty is a welcome initiative.
The new tax regime’s enhancements make it more attractive for salaried individuals.
It’s clear the government wants to promote spending over saving through the new tax regime.
This detailed analysis helps understand the broader implications on personal finance and investments.
Has anyone else started planning their finances based on these new changes? Would love to hear your thoughts!

@@BALVINDER-Singh it's beneficial for u as tax has reduced to 12.5 for long terma nd 20 for short .. 6 months may indexation ka waise bh koi benefit na milta apko toh apko old and new scheme dono may same pdega . If u hold for 2 years then u will have more benefit kyuki apka tax 12.5 hojayga .
