That's why being a technological leader is important. AI would revolutionize warfare in a way rifles did. Right now it is more or less testing phase. Just like the first rifles did not provide much compared to bows but were more useful in certain situations. With time the reliability, usability and integraation would increase. This would be especially beneficial to countries like UK which can't fill in thee quotas. Or nations like the US which are monsters at war but can't sustain much casualties. And of course smaller countries that also can't sustain many casualties but unlike the US, that would be because they lack people.
This is like the only thing I hear parrot'd over and over. Vague claims about how this is the next big stock. Securing the data is not difficult to do as a data engineer.
Palantir is charging the military for an automated Command&Conquer/Age of Empires RTS game? Groundbreaking, so impressive. Look up Demis Hassabis; -Google Deep Mind-, Theme Park. What a shitshow of low quality sadness.
That's a classic game, and Demis is obviously a brilliant guy. But, Palantir is also tied to the government...so this can go beyond the simulation stage. It's intended to sync with active military systems to make real-time decisions with potentially real consequences. We'll have to see how far they're willing to take this initial demo concept.
Problem.is. It's really my opinion, but as AI development advances, the use cases for GPT style military use cases also advances, as well. This could increase the chances of real world casualties that can be attributed to AI.
@@EddieGM True, but is that any different than bombs and missiles? I believe that Palantir is going to create a safer world for the US and our allies because our foes are gonna think twice before starting a conflict. Hopefully it will create a more peaceful world, but that’s my opinion.
@@ADM015 Yeah it depends what your viewpoint is. If we use it safely, then you can definitely make an argument for the overall benefits. But, if it's in the wrong hands, then AI advancements, specifically for war can lead to many issues. We'll have to see how this all develops.
Appreciate the video's on AI Eddie. Thanks.
Thanks, appreciate you watching and leaving a comment, means a lot man
Damn wish I had this when I was a 96B intel analyst.
assuming it actually works correctly, and as required.. many of the current popular AI "co-pilots" regularly misunderstand or give the wrong result.
Judgement day …..Arnold was on to something
Hasta la vista baby

Ethical? yes. Safe? As long as the operator/commander verifies the underlying facts and is in full control.
Can't say for sure but they are one of the only three private companies that have the highest levels of government security in terms of guarding data

holy shit
holy sheeet
I have PLTR : just because I am cynical. But anyway it doesn’t perform so…😂
With this RTS game usage of the A/GI transformer scale it will divedend eventually. I have it too. It is a Lonng, like 3% a year long.
Do you think it will with JD Vance and Trump in charge ?
Cokes and dorritos.

At least we are trying to be safe and ethical. Unlike some nation states we know.
Yeah AI ethics will be a looong discussion in the coming years
We are definitely the most stupid species! The only mammal devoting his intellectual to self destruct! So funny!
It's funny because AI probably agrees
@@EddieGM yeah……
That's exactly why I don't invest in them.
matrix is real, Oscar wilde had written this sentence in my reality
modern warfare
This is definitely a long term buy (hoping lol)
Why is this demo scary? Don’t understand.

Don’t forget to look at real good crypto projects in relation to it…
