If you are a beginner, best to give St Anton a miss, as all the skiing reviews show it is not beginner friendly i.e. it rates as only a 4 out of 10 for beginners, so best to avoid it till you are at least an intermediate.

We partly agree with this reasoning. It really depends which area of the area you are visiting. There a quite a few slopes that are perfectly fine for beginners. We know, as we also visited the area with true beginners.
But yeah, sure there are areas that are really beginner friendly. For example some areas near the Zugspitz. The problem though is that many times people go with larger groups of beginners and intermediates or even experts. St Anton is fine for combining those.

@sneeuwplankers I spent the whole winter there many moons ago. February has epic snow while not being a white-out every day.
