Yo bro I was writing a physics test today and it was easy because of you I barely knew things in the class cus our physics teacher is not a good teacher but I understood most things under 10mins than the whole two terms at this point you are actually my physics and maths teacher so thanks man keep saving people and keep doing what you doing god bless you man🎉❤😊
it's because when u draw the ''Bohr diagrams'' you will notice the from 1-3 you might find it easier to lose 1 electron, than to gain 7. Same goes for 2 and 3, it much easier to lose 2 electrons, than to gain 6. If an atom has lost electrons it becomes positive because there are more protons than electrons and that is why the valency is positive. However when the valency gets to 4, the charge it takes to lose and gain electrons is the same, that is why the valency should be ''PLUS/MUNUS 4. Then the number goes back to to -3 because the outer most sphere of the atom has 5 electrons making it easier to gain 3 electrons, than to lose 5 same goes for the other two, and since the atom has more electrons the valency become negative. Please keep in mind that the atoms with a valency don't have a complete outer most sphere (THEY DO NOT HAVE 8 ELECTRONS IN THE LAST ORBITAL SPHERE). The reason the last row doesn't have a valency, is because it doesn't need to gain or lose electrons to get a perfect orbital because it already has 8 electron in the last sphere. These elements are know are NOBLE GASES. l hope this helps you👍👍
Hello Kevinn!! Can you maybe make some videos discussing past papers for people with technical science because there is nobody that makes technical science videos. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hi @Kevinmathscience , when changing the Chem formula to the name do you have to write out the metal and the non-metals names or can you just jump straight into it???
because of the bohr diagram because of you have 1-3 molecules it’s easier to remove them than add but if you have 5-7 it’s easier to add hence 4 is plus minus because it’s the same if we add and remove hope that makes sense

First teacher to make me enjoy chemistry
You should open your own school , because you really helped me thanks 😊
You are a blessing 🙌 🙏
When are we getting chemical equation??
I've been waiting for this video 😢
Your a life saver 😭❤️
The way he says oxide!😮😂😂
Kevin there by the velency why is it 1234-3-2-1 instead of 1234-4-3-2-1

I preferably found it easier to write the names first then name it but this is my preference.
Thank you sir
Sir, I think you forgot the pre-fix should it be aluminum trioxide
prefixes are only for covalent bonds we are busy with ionic bonds
Hi kelvin why do we switch the number of valency
because of the bohr diagram because of you have 1-3 molecules it’s easier to remove them than add but if you have 5-7 it’s easier to add hence 4 is plus minus because it’s the same if we add and remove
hope that makes sense

Do , you have to all ways switch the numbers
Wasn't it minus two 1:52
sorry i’m late but because of the criss cross merging the -2 goes to the NA but in formula the sign doesn’t matter so it become just 2
My favorite element is Mg
You are the best
5:31 i guess Kevin was feeling a little...basic
(Get it)
❤️❤️
Magnesium Nah I tried😂
Marry me😭🙏
Eyy wena...relax
