In my eyes he still is a great singer and song writer compared to Nikki Minaj other "artists" who write about nothing but nonesense.
I absolutely can fault him for returning to the bottle. To excuse such behavior is absurd!! I do agree that negative comments don't get us anywhere but neither does excusing Ville of horrible behavior or ignoring a problem that can lead to his death. It's just very frustrating as a fan. As I have always said - I would love for Ville to be a success story. I was so proud of his efforts last album/tour.

I don't understand why you are complaining. He is a singer and as a singer you have a "everyday form". Maybe his voice wasn't strong that day because of several reasons. Clearly he has a much better voice than many singers performing live.

Ville is a human being like all of us, this was probably the last show of the tour in 2012 and they were exhausted and tired, he was worn out, his voice was broken due to tiredness, he was overworked, he sure drank to relieve stress, besides having to sing to a full audience, and he was always shy. So let's stop judging him and more respect pls! Ville is an amazing artist, a divine talent, and I'm grateful for everything he's done and does, his songs have saved my life so many times, and I love him so much.

About his voice!! I saw him in 2010 and I can honestly saw he has the most beautiful voice, he hits notes perfectly!! I can tell in this video he's not feeing great, of you ask me, he looks really ill. You can not sing when you have any sort of virus, you have nothing to give for at least two weeks. How can singers be expected to be on form every single performance, it's insane to ask that of someone.
Mate, you are right,nice said, but about screamworks i do not agree, it might have been failure when you speak about money they earned with the album, but album as a whole, you cant say that, it was musicaly great as every one, Great bands are those who make their next albums completely different than the previous one, and to find a new way of expresing music is always fine, changes are good, and screamworks has special place in my heart and i'm sure it does in ville's...cheers! ;)

What I hate is the judging of an album's quality by sales numbers. By that margin, Britney Spears would be the best artist out there. Um, no. Screamworks was not a failure and it was a very good album.
The band are playing 4 nights in a row - people from all over the world are paying hard earned money to see them. Of course he will stressed, with the new record coming out next year he'll be worrying it will be a "failure" like Screamworks. Can you blame him for returning to the bottle? The show on the 26th proved that Ville still has it. Give the man a break ._. And of course I can understand everyone's concurs.. but negative comments will not get us anywhere.

I study in a music school for vocal ive been an alcoholic and i know how you cant sing when youre drunk and i hear that in his voice sorryt o tell but his voice is not that good anymore and if he doesnt stop alcohol and smoking its gone forever.. by the way ville herrmanni valo is my idol i love him more than myself probably..
