Wow! I have been knitting for 40 years and that edge fix is life changing. I am the queen of laddering down in the middle of the row, but those edge stitches have always eluded me. Thanks for this- it will save hours of precious knitting time!
This was amazing! Still scary but not so much now! I have a beginner sweater with a few "wrong hats" on the edging. I'm going to try this. Thank you so much!
I have a seed stitch border and found where I knitted the purls, and purled the knits a few rows down. Is this something I can fix with your technique? Any advice would be appreciated!!
If it's only a couple rows down, I think I would ladder down individual columns and not across the entire border, but either way could work (with a little bit of patience, of course).

You are amazing, I tried to do that years ago and made a complete mess of it, ripped it out and started over. 😀
This is just brilliant!! Thank you!
Amazing! And even more amazing how easy you make it look.
This is wonderful !! As a newish knitter I would be so scared to do this but actually looks fun. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this tutorial!

Just a bit of love to help you recover from your fire.
Thanks sweetie! Really we were quite fortunate that the damage was very localized. It could have been so much worse.
