Every wedding I have been to in New York didn’t take photos in a studio between the ceremony and the reception. So I don’t know where this photographer came up with this bizarre myth.
Parents have walked their children down the aisle on crutches and in wheel chairs before. If the church aisle couldn't accommodate the mother, that was something to consider. However, I definitely got the impression that spoiled Amy was the one who wasn't going along with that.
Why have such a big do? All they need is the licence and a visit to city hall or whatever they have in NY. Then have some sort of party later with the people they want and actually like.
I hate what the mother said. Why would they be the only ones they have left? Because You decided arbitrarily that blood relation is the most important. But what's it worth if they don't enjoy each other's company? Urgh
This is my situation now I wanted a go to the courthouse type of thing but my fiance wanted the big wedding so big wedding it is and now I have the biggest anxiety 😩 because all those people eyes will be on me like what if they say oh she picked that dress her makeup could have been better the food is horrible it's a million things running 🏃♀️ in my head its like 8 weeks till the day
I feel the same way but I'm conditioning my head to don't care about what others have to say. It's what I want, what we envisioned so I will not mind them. 😁

I wanted something small like u but like u also my fiance wanted a big wedding cuz he has a ton of family so much not everyone is invited.
I didn’t have a large wedding first time around, it was very small under 20 guests and it was wonderful. Nothing traditional in that aspect really. But we are planning our vow renewal, and that’s gonna be a large celebration, with the white dress and everything. Already being married takes the stress off honestly.
Seems a little odd to me that her now hubby didnt have a relationship either with her brother. They tried once before to get married. I recall having to do a fair bit on my own, little details that i wished I had support with from my siblings at the last min and they pissed off the night before the wedding to the spa pool with my parents at the motel. Felt so hurtful as I sat alone at the table as it pissed with rain heavy. I'd been really sick for a month due to surgery just before my wedding so I got behind in some last min things.
