Thank you, my friend! I think staying for a month in Turkey and living almost like a local will give us some good hints about life here and the associated costs.
@@bilalsokaki6034 Hi Bilal, I certainly think that Turkey has a lot of perspectives and is definitely on the list. As a tourist, I am blown away. The question is more if it qualifies as a place for a longer term.
I have been semi-retired for a couple of years. When I turned 55 I thought it was probably better to retire completely. My partner wants to work a little less than 2 years and retire then.
It is a good option too. In Koniyaalti, you will find lots of bars, restaurants, and cafes too. Actually, the evenings are quite lively even during the low seasons. I can imagine that the area will be packed with tourists during the summer time.
@@NULifeRetiringAbroad of course but old town is soo nice and authentic. Because after a couple of weeks or months u will be tired of laying on the beach. And its cheaper in town. And the view from old town with the mountains in distance is worth everything
I like your approach. I am curious to understand the conditions for daily life and accomodation. Keep on doing these videos.

I have been to Antalya. I love it. But I don't know anything about Koniyaalti. It looks like a nice neighborhood.
Are you retired already? Why is Turkey on your list?

I would rather have a Appartment near old town = lots to do. Konyaalti = only beach = nothing to do.
