Lol Amethyst is my birthstone, but I highly recommend from experience be careful of using crystals with whatever you’re using them for b’c they’re not as good as people think with are. As far as using it to make handmade jewelry, I think thats really cool and im sure the jewelry will be super nice. I took jewelry metal-smithing both in high school and college (I miss it).

My twin sister makes jewelry, I'm so jealous because I'm not good at crafting things and I would love to be able to make jewelry but alas, I don't have any executive functioning skills 😅 and yes I'm leaning about crystals more every day! My best friend works at a new age store that sells crystals so she's been guiding me through everything! I also use Palo Santo wood instead of Sage because I don't want to open any portals 😅
@TwiggyKeely Awe, well you know the saying "practice makes perfect". I'm sure if you practice even if it's just beads for starters. There is no rule that says you need to have pro skills unless you plan to someday make into a side hustle or something but still you can start with bead jewelry making kits.
