I did hear you say that you can have your item unboxed, but just to clarify, will they accept to give VAT Refund in a situation where I'm having just the bill and my phone (without it's box as I'm thinking of keeping it in the Check-In Baggage rather than Hand Luggage)? Did you show the box to them at the kiosk? 2. What did you do about the phone box as I've heard people getting in trouble with the Indian Customs due to the box and hence I'm planning to not keep it in my Hand Luggage. I'd really appreciate your reply, thanks and yes, the video was informative, I liked how you were precise with the reasons why something has been named the way it is, haha :)
Thank you for your comment. 🙏 1. The VAT refund counter is just next to the airport entry, before check in , so you could do the VAT processing and then pack your box in the check in bags if you want. 2. I binned the box at the airport after the VAT process.
