I believe sxephil's used some clips of this video on one of his vids and called him wiggles. His true name is Butterball.

My dog lived to 19 without particularly carefull life extension care, he could be doing well.
I know you did the right thing because he has to learn to do it himself, but I couldn't resist the crying. I'd have gone and got him.

i just read a comment from a latest vid of butterball which is 2 years ago and the dog passed away on july 2021 due to degenerative myelopathy. he lived a long and happy life, rest easy on doggy heaven, butterball 🤍🐾

I know you’re being kind but I don’t understand why people feel more comforted by the idea of an afterlife than the reality. Nobody and no animal has anything to worry about after dying. Death only affects those that are left behind. Butterball is at peace by the very nature of being dead. He’s not sad. He’s not missing out on anything. He’s not in pain or regretful or happy or anything else. Death only impacts the living.

It's not torturing, it's the process of learning. Butterball is whimpering because he's afraid to go down the stairs, it's all new to him, but he has to learn how to do so. I'm sure you're afraid to do new things as well, but all is well once you've conquered your fear. Same goes for Butterball. At the end of the video, he went down those 3 steps like a champ, especially since being so scared with the first one. And yes, Butterball is very adorable. ^_^

About 8 years ago now, I had a dream of this exact video, I was watching a small dog attempting to descend a flight of carpet stairs. Exactly the same, even with the gate at the top and the whimpers. I always remembered the dream as being a little too weird or familiar, and now I know why.

Just so you know ;) Corgi's and stairs is not a good combo - Its not good for their legs/hips - So if a Corgi faces stairs daily, it might get hip problems alot earlier in life than a corgi who doesnt face stairs daily.

Cute, but I've been told by corgi breeders and trainers that you should not be allowing such a young corgi pup to go down the stairs, as this can cause permanent damage to their legs and backs.
