I admire your dedication to your adventures, and I wish you endless experiences, peace, and contentment. And, of course, safety. Thank you for sharing. If our paths ever cross, I'd like to buy you coffee and hear about your travels. 🙂
I really appreciate the comment! Life is a crazy journey and Im just trying to fill mine up. I have even more planned for the next year and different opportunities keep appearing on a daily basis now! I will also be sharing more stories from my adventures in shorts and instagram so stay tuned for that!
I have not watched the video yet. But after watching the "dog approved" ad (for Crosstrek Wilderness), I saw your car carrying a big solar panel. Impressed!!! Now it's time to watch to the end. Alright, just finished watching. Awesome. Thanks for sharing!!!
Nahhh you got me, when subi came out with crosstrek thats what I wanted, I currently have a 2019 and for the last 3 years I couldn't be happier with her
I really dig that solar panel, I just moved into my Subaru Outback. I’d love to have a fridge but I still have to build a platform or area for it. I had a power station (allpowers r1500) which crapped out on the 5th day I had it, and was powering mainly my fan… but yeah love that solar panel idea, I was thinking of getting a flexible one and putting on my cargo box.
How do you keep warm in the winter? I’m in Truckee, Ca. And I want to start living out of my impreza to save $$, but I’m incredibly concerned with the winter months and staying warm.nI like your set up, too. It’s given me some ideas for my build out this spring.
With my solar setup I was able to power a heated blanket, that with a zero degree sleeping bag I literally slept like an angel haha not even joking the best sleep of my life is with this set up in the winter in Colorado. I dont know how cold it gets there but it was getting below 0 quite often some years and I was totally fine. Keep in mind that anything that produces heat, blankets, burners, airfryers, all require a lot of power. I've also seen people use small portable propane heaters that are meant for camping, that depends on how comfortable you are burning something in a car
In Colorado I find most people don’t really bother you as long as you aren’t causing any trouble but I would often sleep at the parking lot of my gym and had no problems there
I did a lot in Asia haha I have been to Thailand 8 times, a few times with the intention to teach English but changed my mind. Also worked for my friends entertainment company doing photography. I hope to go back to Asia and teach English while also working with hotels and brands creating content
Great setup. Enjoy the adventures! Recently bought a 2013 Crosstrek. Lovin it. Camped in it 1 night so far.
It's an adventure mobile for sure!

@@newconor At first I read "shorts" as the clothing, and I was all, "Hell yeah! I can live with that!" 😂

@@newconor yes that might be the next move. GoodLuck on your adventures. I will be following!!
@@bryantkeys thank you!
Awesome 👍🏾
Thanks 👍
Where do you park to sleep? I imagine that the solar panel would prevent you being stealth and sleeping on side streets.
In Colorado I find most people don’t really bother you as long as you aren’t causing any trouble but I would often sleep at the parking lot of my gym and had no problems there
"Get cooked out of your car" in summer ...FACT. I always had to do hotels in summers.
Where did you get the solar panel at?
Straight from the Renogy website

@@newconor wow that is a lot!! I wish I would have done a lot more of THAT before I had a kid, rather than chasing girls and parties in my youth lol
