Beautiful beadwork Mark! Perfect timing too! I just went to a Mayan exhibit at the museum, and took LOTS of pictures of not only the art but their jewelry. I do this whenever we have an exhibit of another culture, I take pictures of the jewelry, and either try to replicate or make something inspired from them.
So easy to make, too. Once you get started you'll go nuts. I got the rope at the dollar store. It's laundry line but you can use a cotton cord which is pretty easy to find, too.
Hi Mark! That lamp is awesome! Your beading is beautiful. I think the beaded bracelet would look gorgeous stacked with other bracelets. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent!!
Love the beads jewelry! Can't thank you enough for sharing the info regarding the Honeywell lamp! My eyes are definitely not what they used to be. Look forward to your art and wisdom always:)
@@MarkMontanoMakeYourMark if I had known several years ago, I might've tried it. Now, though I'm nearly all the way blind in my right eye. So I don't think me making those will be on my agenda.
Oh thank you Mary! The lamp is such a lifesaver. The head is small so it really doesn't get in the way. BTW, my current desk lamp got so hot that sometimes I would burn my forehead on it! My friends swore they were curling iron burns....Just to torture me!
Hey Cutie patootie, how beautiful those turned out and what patience you have. I love making detailed things but the sewing process , tatting or embroidery just fluster me. Always envied those who have that skill.
This is just perfect!!! Thank you again, Mark. Your incredible sense of style and creativity just sets me a fire with ideas. My daughter's friends are looking for something to do as a group ( cheerleaders). This is perfect for after church craft ideas♥️💜💚
These are so beautiful, Mark. Thank you for sharing this. I always wondered how to make this kind of thick beaded jewelry. And that lamp looks perfect for my work table.👍🏾❤️
You are so welcome. I'm really loving this lamp! Honeywell asked if I would do this video and I immediately said YES! I've been needing a lamp like this for my work table.
Thank you! 😊 Secretly I've been wearing the necklace around the studio. I'm trying to find a way to rock it! So far I just look like a guy wearing a bright necklace!
Yes, It's good to catch up with your videos.... There have been some crazy things going on around here.... and I don't always get my notifications... and so, Today I went looking for the videos I had missed. 😉
Good question. Sometimes they pile up. Often I gift them at the holidays or for birthdays and mostly I donate the bigger pieces back to a thrift store.
Hey there...I like the nylon thread because it doesn't tangle as much as other thread. It's strong and thin so you can pass through the beads a few times if necessary but I have done it with good cotton thread. The beeswax does help with tangling, though. I'd be sure to wax the thread if you have. I've used candle wax in a pinch by the way!
What kind of needle are you using? It looks very long which is great for this project. And the thread -- is it sewing thread or beading thread? I love this project and the individual creativity it allows!
Hi Barbara, I got this stuff at a 99c store. It's used for hanging laundry but there are all kinds of cotton cords that you can use. Easy to find, too. Look for 1/4" thickness or more if you're adventurous.
Hi ya Mark . Just ❤❤ the bracelet and necklace just ❤ those colours . Just ❤ the lamp I’m needing a stinger lamp Aswell ! I surely will have a look . Thank You . Have an awesome day 🤗

It's so inspiring to see what people made in the past and just how absolutely beautiful it is!
Oh my gosh! I adore those beaded ropes! They are gorgeous.

Beautiful project. Love it!
Glad you like it Eve! I've been wearing that necklace around the studio. I love the weight of it!
So true about eyes changing over time, added light is essential! Beautiful work, Mark. Thank you and God bless ✝
You are so welcome Cindy! I can't believe how the years fly by and how different I feel in the mornings....Not like when I was in my 30s for sure!
Hi Mark! That lamp is awesome! Your beading is beautiful. I think the beaded bracelet would look gorgeous stacked with other bracelets. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent!!

They are so fun to make and it's relaxing, too. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be addicted to making them!
What do you do with all of these projects after you're done, Mark?
Good question. Sometimes they pile up. Often I gift them at the holidays or for birthdays and mostly I donate the bigger pieces back to a thrift store.
Love it! Beautiful beading and a necessary lamp! Thank you Mark👌🏼💙👌🏼💎
That lamp saved me and no forehead burns courtesy of my other (very HOT) lamp!
U did it again mark I just love it ❤
Hi Lateefa! Great to see you here in the comments! Hope you're doing great!
Thanks for another great video! Can you use regular sewing thread or do you need a specific beading thread?
Hey there...I like the nylon thread because it doesn't tangle as much as other thread. It's strong and thin so you can pass through the beads a few times if necessary but I have done it with good cotton thread. The beeswax does help with tangling, though. So are YOU!
What kind of needle are you using? It looks very long which is great for this project. And the thread -- is it sewing thread or beading thread? I love this project and the individual creativity it allows!
Hi Linda, this is a nylon beading thread and you can get it anywhere. Also, it's a long beading needle. Also available in many places.
Thank you
You're welcome Kris! Happy Tuesday!
What is the milmeter beads that you was using ?
Hey Donna, not 100% sure but any bead size will do since you're wrapping and not measuring.
@@MarkMontanoMakeYourMark I have eye trouble to ,I'm going to look in to one of them lights .I use 5mm so I can see the hole

Happy Monday friend! Have a wonderful week yourself!
💙💚🖤 So pretty Mark! I have been needing to get a better lamp, because the older I get the harder it is to see. Perfect timing!
I hear (and see) you! The older I get the more I worry that I might one day lose my sight.
I love them and the lamp as well #MarkMontano
Hey Linda! The lamp is now permanently on my work desk. I love it! Big hugs friend!
When I saw the thumbnail, I somehow thought you had beaded a tube around your new lamp’s cord 💜
Well, that would have been just fantastic! Love it Catherine! Have an awesome day my friend!
