The RES will be the internal resistance of the battery. The lower the value, the more CCA it can deliver. The odd thing is the internal resistance should be milliohms = mR. whare as MR = Megaohms which it definitely is not. So, there is a capitalisation error, but that is a minor issue. Have the same thing going on as well. I was bound to replace my battery since the car would barely crank over after sitting for a week or two. Bought the tester instead, ran it, and it turned out the battery was in perfect condition. Something appears to be draining it as well ever so slowly.
I've got an AGM battery fitted in my car, really meant for 'stop start' vehicles, even though it isn't a stop start one and they are sealed batteries and have glass fibre pads inside, between the plates, which hold much more charge than the old type batteries that you used to be able to top up. AGM batteries are good for cars that have big sound systems and other electrical heavy drain items. Rolls Royce cars, for example have two AGM batteries in them.
Smart Battery Charger's do the same thing. "Similar Price" They will recharge a battery at optimum speed, repair damage to the battery, and automatically switches to a low charge rate once the battery is recharged. Smart chargers like The Ring RSC612/RESC612 also has four battery analysis tools, that test start power, an alternator check, battery cranking performance and battery voltage, to give you a full view of your vehicle battery's health.
My hobbies are painting pictures and lisining to shortwave and ssb iam thinking about getting my ham license I have 4 shortwave receivers me and my cousin are going to a Swap meet June 5th 2022 Sunday morning at 8 am in Milwaukee my other hobby is lisn to music records and CDs and fmstreo on my Yamaha reciver
I'm just wondering what will happen if you put the "wrong" CCA for the battery to be tested. Will it still give the same MEASURED value or depends on RATED. Just a thought...

Hi. Smart chargers do seem to work on batteries that do not get used much. Without one a battery can die in 4 years.
You need to use EN on the Varta battery. It's an European battery. And it also says 750 EN on the label :)

Mine reads between 25-30% SOH and still works fine.
