Sometimes I simplify to make it a bit easier to play , as my bass vi has terribly high action I really need to fix that. Alas, I haven’t had much time to set up and work on guitars lately.
@@MrBeen992 it’s a made in Japan - fender VI Think I need to put a neck shim in to lower the action (i’ve done that on a couple of guitars and it really helps)

Thank you most kindly 🙏. Yeah I hear you about modern music- i think they have done an analysis of current modern music - it was found really shallow compared to other periods- when they looked at a number of variables.
Back when I recorded this- I was using a Marshall amp- and used a mixture of TC electronic (I think the flashback *4) and boss guitar effects. My recording setup is pretty straightforward to this day- I don’t use any software. I have a zoom R16- it can be used with DAW. But I tend to just plug-in and hit record. Hope that helps.

I used a boss drum machine - the boss dr 808.
