Yeah, I used to love the "Wogan" chat show. Terry was a real natural tv presenter, with his witty charm. This showwas on every week night between 7.00pm and 7.30pm. I wish we had something similar today, much better than the endless miserable soaps we get now. r.i.p Mr Wogan, Mr Forsythe (Blake) and Aaron Spelling.

The main reason these Wogan specials were done like this was to promote the show's they were in as they were broadcast on good old BBC1. Dynasty, Dallas & Doctor Who.
So happy they survived the Moldavian Mascare, one of the best cliffhangers ever in television.
And noone saw it coming!
Terry Wogan - if not for this wonderful man I might have never tuned in for Dallas or Dynasty and I would have missed all these wonderful characters!

Knots landing despite being a Dallas spin off wasn’t as popular in the U.K. as Dallas & Dynasty
It was weird back in the 80's where actors were sometimes interviewed in character (see also Doctor Who) - it frankly looks odd now!
Doesn't bother me, Wogan did a similar Dallas one with Larry Hagman & Linda Gray.
