Maybe you could react to something by my favorite singer Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau? An die Musik or Erlkönig for example. Great video!!

I was wondering if you could do a reaction analysis to someone singing the aria "Se di lauri il crine adorno" from Mozart Mitridate re di ponto? Bruce Ford, Michael Spyres or someone of your chosing? It's such an extreme aria in many ways. There's a recording of Bruce Ford singing it on YT, he's in some white make-up and crazy yellow armour, but it might be of too low a quality for you (not the singing obv.).
Anyways, really enjoying your takes on singers and technique!

Jakob Josef Orlinski: Vedro con mio diletto? th-cam.com/video/yF4YXv6ZIuE/w-d-xo.html Or Natalie Dessay: tu del ciel ministro elletto”?th-cam.com/video/ChXIOeGkvX8/w-d-xo.html - or “Se pieta”th-cam.com/video/u4vB6DaJfQw/w-d-xo.html - 2 amazing singers - basically anything they sing! :)

Oooh and Marten aller Arten with Anneliese Rothenberger, there's a clip from 1968 which is worth a watch :-) Also, Frühlingsstimmenwaltzer with Natalie Dessay, also on YT.

A musical lesson in seduction. So beautiful and deceptively understated - including his hands in his pockets to begin with - to plaintive, bended knees at the end. Yes, opera’s over the top, but Finley subverts this with his tender, seductive deception. Even if we know he doesn’t mean it, we’re hooked. Yes, it should be illegal! Lovely interpretation and commentary. Thanks so much, once again. I’m still smiling!

Lovely, and I’ve heard him sing live at ROH, but for me- he isn’t quite in the same league as Peter Mattei, who has really made this canzonetta his own.

just a wee little correction - the building you show as the estates theater is actually the current national theater - which wasn't built until the 19th century. NO biggie just a small pedantic correction from a czech viewer :)

Resonant, controlled and every fourth note flat. Piaaaaaanto. Cooooooore. The list goes on. Sad.

Too slow! I would sleep if he sang to me. He sings out of pitch, some notes too low, and this canzonetta needs much more energy.
