Great video Thank goodness for CC. This can also be used in water purification. I'll look for the pressing of the bricks next- Thank's old timer you are helping the younger generation that cares.
thank you! very ingenious way to make charcoal. I'm also impressed by your use of steel shaft bent for a hanging grate and your other inventions in the video. Please make more videos of your machines. a couple of suggestions/ideas: if you turn the cans upside down the smoke will go into the fire and burn. You won't be able to see it from the top but you could line the bottom of the cans up with the grate and the hole on the outside of the barrel and then you could see the bottom of the cans so you know when the smoke/flame stops. Also, the chip board you are burning has a lot of glues which are really bad to breathe especially if they smoke and don't flame. Be careful not to breathe that. You could add a chimney to increase the draw and get more flame, less smoke. Overall, very nice. Thanks again. Keep posting!
Problem is if i turn them upside down after pressure in can is low and fire will ignite inside charcoal that is why i put hole on top, chimney is god idea, greeting
Came across your videos only today and they are amazing. I particularly love this video. It is not only very economical and budget-friendly but because of the convenience in gathering and molding needed equipments from iron scraps. Your videos clearly proves that anyone can make charcoal no matter how poor they may be and without skills too. All they have to do is watch your instructional video and get to work. "Keep it up!"
You have to put a weight on it.some how. Think of making briquets. I bet it'd cook down faster too. As it is now, being so fine might burn too fast. Make a great forge starter though. Thanks for this. It'll come in handy when I get my forge built.
The resin in the green uncooked wood is the binder. I think your press might need to be rehydrated. Try the press while cooking.
Hi sir, how long did it take ? I see the other comment you say over night, is it take like 12 hour ?
