  • With some re-engineering of my prosthesis, my prosthetist managed to get just enough room to fit the taller, 8.4" AllPro XTS foot. It feels amazing.

After years of Ossur. I got my Allpro xts yesterday and it’s a huge difference!

Just curious…I have been using the Allpro for 4 years now, but am getting a new one and switching to the xts. Just wondering if you know a comparison between the two to know if there’s much of a difference. I’ve tried other feet with a rotation function and they really didn’t have a rotation function. BKA here and was a pro athlete and had my knee reconstructed long before losing my leg. I’d love a rotation function to prolong my knee health.

You don't really notice any rotation, but the slight absorption of rotational impact really reduces load thru my knee joint. Maybe a better way of describing it is that it feels smooth on rough terrain and high impact?

Hey man! Im considering a below knee amputation and was just wondering how long did it take you to get to where you could jog? Thanks for all your help in your videos as I am about to begin this journey !

I took my first jogging strides in physiotherapy, about 2 months after my amputation, but they very short. I didn't begin jogging longer distances until about a year after surgery.
