50 years of spannering and I have never heard of that one before! Quite timely too; I am about to pull the engine on my Series 3 Land Rover so I now know what to do if the spigot bearing is shot! Thanks a lot.
Well Im glad its now on your radar!
Thanks BJ, learn something new every day. Your 'Tangents' channel is certainly aptly named!! Keep 'em coming!
Haha glad to hear it!
Maybe link a coupon code to your 97 grain bread! JK @@tangentsbhb
Gives a whole new meaning to 'packed lunch'. 😂😂
🤣🤣
Good idea, not messy like grease!
Yeah really easy clean up!
I used a small pilot bearing slide hammer and they came out in seconds 😁
Definitely the right tool but I wanted to try this way for fun!
Cool trick. Never seen this before!
Im not sure how widely known the trick is but I was happy to showcase it!
LOL. Honestly, I was skeptical. That's pretty cool.
It can now be put in your back pocket in case you need it 😉
I have always just used grease. Cheap bread may work better (no grains, just mush). That bearing looks like it was ready for sure!
Yeah I wanted cheap bread but refused to go buy an entire loaf lol
Never seen that done before works really well lol who would have thought ,you learn something everyday great trick mate 👍👌❤️
I think for me it was something like a rumor but once I searched it it seemed like a popular proven method. Glad to showcase it!
wow!! 👍nice to know. thanks
🤘🤘
Amazing !😲
Worked really well!
I use grease
well now you have bread as an option
Nice trick
I was very surprised how easy it was!
Let it eat!
Didn't even need the big hammer
Now I just picture some italian mechanic using focaccia on his Alfa Romeo
😂😂😂😂 I mean it's only proper! Perhaps seaweed wrap on Japanese cars would work best over there.
@@tangentsbhb Now that I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised if rise also worked, just uncooked so it doesn't squish that much...
I think you need to compare the nice looking caraway seed rye to cheapo white bread LOL
Hmm, i wonder how I could set that test up as it would be hilarious
Hi buddy
one wonders how the dude who first tried this came up with the idea? during lunch i assume..
Hahaha I'm sure it was a real eureka moment!
Another good reason if you want to live a long and healthy life don't eat bread :(
What is life without bread?
