Honestly, half my dreams are like this. I'm driving a car that's now a bike, now I'm walking a dog. All on the way to pick up pizza, and in the dream this is normal and I don't question it. Although there is always a confused part of my brain that feels something isn't right with the mechanics of it all. That voice is never strong enough to break through though, so I'm just along for the ride.
I was also struck with how AI seems to be channeling nightmares. No wonder G AI searches do worse than 1999 searches.
I could imagine Doctor Who doing a AI generated episode or something that looks like that. They had an episode years ago where an alien pretended to be a human but it didn't understand multiple lifeforms being together, so when it pretended to be a guy walking a dog, the guy barked.
