Wow, when I was 24, I was raising a 3 year old alone while my husband was in the Middle East fighting a ground war in a tank. I worked and I lived far-away from my family. I ran our little household and tried to keep our shite together all by myself. I never felt sorry for myself one bit. I just did what I had to do. One day at a time.

My heart goes out to the kids these people bring into the world who will grow up to perpetuate the same never ending cycle. I had to go to the local welfare hotel today for work related things and it was just a horror. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot the cops were already on their way out. The woman I had to speak with opened the door and the stench of weed almost knocked me over. The place was completely dark except for the TV. She had a baby on her hip and a 7 year old girl. Lying on the bed shirtless was some thug loser. The little girl wanted to go downstairs to the lobby and she told her to make it quick and if she sees her father to not talk to him and come right back. So the father is in some other room while Mr. Thug is shacked up with mom. 🤦♂️ I mean, what chance does that little girl have? The odds of her winding up just like her mother are probably 99.9% likely.
