The Jimmy of 2004-2009 era would have helped cover this up as back then he did same for his brother Carl on two occasions when he accidently caused Paul Marsden's death and then their father's. (Although the cover up of Paul's death was mainly down to Matthew).
I highly doubt we'll be seeing that Jimmy this time around, he needs to realise his daughter isn't the only one to blame in all this.
She's not the only one to blame, great, so now go tell the police you lied and tried letting the other take all blame...
Of course she's not the only one to blame, they're all guilty of taking a car and driving it without the owner's consent, but the person at the wheel is ultimately responsible for the accident, and the tragic aftermath that followed. The person driving was Angie, she needs to acknowledge that,and face the consequences for it, stop trying to pin it on someone who wasn't actually driving at the time. But they'll cook something up to protect her! Possibly at Cathy's expense!😮

It would be really messed up if she went to Prison for this but she may have one of those judges that want to make an example out of her.

Cathy didn't lie about her part to the police, Angelica did, if it's revealed she lied, it will look worse for her. Like it or not, but who did the actual crashing, will most likely also be harder punished.
