That explosion was definitely from your (non-hardened) duct. Make sure to change the keybind for Better Questing, so you can actually use Ore Excavation.

the cobblegen auto-outputs above it. Save yourself a hopper and put your chest on top of the cobblegen. bonus points for wrapping the chest with 6 planks and making a drawer instead :)

For early ore doubling, you can use a Crusher from Actually Additions with a coal generator btw ^_^ Loving this modpack so far and so happy to see you playing it too!

You need the Hardened fluiduct (opaque) which uses 2 invar and 1 lead if i'm remembering correctly.

To correct pronouncing of the the sieve the word siv is the machine seeving is what you do with the siv it is Not Siving the seev
Yes I know there not spelled right but it's easier to pronounce
