Oh yeah. First, the header collector is right under the footwell, and it used to get really hot on the floor. That's gone. Now, you can put your hand on the carpet and there is no noticeable heat at all. Next is the sound, my exhaust system is really loud and with a convertible, there is no way to fix that, but the road noise from the suspension is really dulled down. I put some in the doors and closing the doors has a satisfying THUD instead of a sheet metal ring. Highly recommend
@@OpenRoader oh wow good to know man! I can't wait to do this to my 63 impala. just wondering how to get it into the doors . I guess remove the door panel and stuff it up in there ? I can't remember there being large enough openings last time I had the door panel off
Yes, remove the door panels and put the windows up. Make sure you clean the metal inside the door and just peel and stick. This stuff works best if you heat it with a heat gun after, but it's not mandatory. Good luck with your 63, thanks for watching and your comments
