RESTORING her LATE HUSBAND'S beloved PROPERTY

- This property is AWESOME! I haven't come across a property I've wanted to transform more than this one. The lady living here lost her husband a couple of years ago and since she is in a wheelchair and in her 80's, she cannot keep up with the place. That is where Yard Rescue comes in. This video explores the front yard with lots of trimming and weeding. There will be more videos coming of the backyard and a steep 50 degree hill. There are blackberries here as well as tree suckers, overgrown bushes, and a touchup mow. Originally the grass was a couple feet high but the neighbor mowed it before I could come help. Watch me take this front yard to the next level.

I LOVE seeing trees cleaned up! It’s my favorite. Great job!
You are so funny. Bumble bees cannot sting. They can only bump you. 😂😂😂
Proper gardening not just cutting grass, looks lovely ❤. Pauline. 🇬🇧
Great job on her lawn. God bless you.
Thank you 😊
You did such a good job. Her yard looks real nice. What a wonderful thing you did for her.
I hope someone can help her keep it looking like this. It looks so beautiful.
You and me both!
Fantastic job Jon. Thanks for doing this for her.
So beautiful. Pleasure to watch.. So precise and tidy
No doubt her yard was kept beautiful with her husband. Lots of pretty trees blooming, nice plants, love and time I am sure for many years was put into thier home and yard ❤.
I hope this brightens her outlook and brings her joy. You did a great job it looks very beautiful. Thanks for sharing and being the difference to so many people in need 🎉.
Gestures like this often times makes all the difference in the thier world in general but definitely in tough times.
Thanks for caring ⭐🥇
Beautiful again! ♥️👍
Thank you. I spoke with her today about her plans for keeping it up. Not sure if she fully understands how frequent it will need attention.
@@yardrescue
Well you helped and hopefully she can keep it up or get you or someone else to maintain her beautiful yard. I understand from my own yardwork as a female that it's hard work maintaining it but I love it.
Alot of people don't understand just how much physical labor and time it is and needs to be done frequently even trimming things. I loved the blooming trees she had the most . I battle keeping all the azaleas and hydrangeas and hedges trimmed it's back breaking but when I am done it's beautiful and I feel good about it 😊
Oh she is not able to do it I forgot 😔
Take Care
@@choosewisely6994 you are right. It takes time and you need to be somewhat agile to do it all. Hopefully her neighbor helps out again like he did, at least so she can avoid city code violation.
Beautiful Restoration
It looks beautiful - you know how to trim trees along with plants and bushes. Really nice to see the knowledgeable touch. 😊
Thank you very much!
Pulled a Ferdinand 😂😂 haven't laughed 🤣 so much in ages ... brilliant work.😊
Thank you. Yeah I love reading that book to my kiddos.
Great job for this elderly lady. 👍👍😊
God bless you kindness, beautiful yard!
You did a very good job, I am sure she is very glad. Hope you will help her with the back yard too, we pray that she will get someone then to maintain the yard her late husband did. God bless
Thank you. Yeah I spoke with her but not sure she realizes how fast stuff grows right now. Stay tuned 😉
Nice work but even nicer is that you did it for an old disabled person!! God bless you for that🙏🏼! Hoping the care giver will take her outside so she can enjoy it and not only through a window…🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you. That’s what I was hoping as well. It seems she doesn’t get out. Her care taker will get groceries for her etc. but at least she has windows to look through.
Fantastic job bringing her garden back to it's original beauty. Now a nice pressure wash and her home and property will look good as new.
While bumblebees certainly can bite, it's not their go to defensive weapon, and is unlikely to cause great pain, but you will definitely know if you have been stung! Queens and workers can sting, but males, who are fewer, smaller and found near the end of the hive's development, can not.
Wow, good to know. I had no idea. All I know I learned from Ferdinand lol. Thank you so much!
Fantastic job. Everything looks great now.
You did a magnificent job! I'm enjoying your work! Thank you for being so kind as to go further in perfecting her yard and landscape! What a blessing!
I'm wondering if a Part 2 is coming on the backyard 🎉 you did a fantastic job Sir...❤😊
Thank you. Stay tuned 😉

Now she needs a good pressure washing to match the amazing yard you did!!!

Nice job. Looks great. Hopefully she’ll have someone maintain it.
I hope so too
Классно кусты подрисовал. МОЛОДЕЦ.
Driveway and walkways could use pressure washing. But tx for helping this kindly widow...😊
You are so right! it would be such a mess but look nice when finished.

Incredible job on this yard, looks amazing !!!!! So nice of you to do this for her, especially trimming the tree so she can see her neighbors ✨✨✨✨✨
Thanks 👍
You have done an awesome job well done IS THERE ANYWAY YOU MIGHT GET TO THE BACK ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you. Stay tuned 😉
Awesome job! You would have cracked up at me... I had to hide my eyes until I knew you were working, so that I didn't see spoilers; I like to watch it all unfold before me. Looks like quite a windy day there; what state are you in?
I loved the annotations like the arrow pointing to the barking dog. Fun! It's so refreshing to see someone, not just hacking aimlessly away job. (I admit I was hoping the big tree would've gotten a dramatic cut back.) She'd be able to see so much more. Thank you for thinking of her view.
When Momma and Daddy got to the age they couldn't go outside much anymore, I made sure that nothing grew over the window sill near the house, and other shrubs didn't block their view. It sure made their hearts a lot happier. It's tough to give up things you used to love to do. Thank you for caring about what would make her day better! You have a kind heart. This was the first video of yours I've seen. Ill go watch a few others. Blessings from the Great Pacific Northwest, Lakewood, Washington! 💛🖤💛 Stacy's Artful Heart
Hi Stacey! I am in Oregon. I live in a windy town.
I agree that she could see more with a bigger cut but she asked me specifically to not cut the trees back much but to just cut the stuff near the bottom so she could see through it better. Enjoy Washington! Hopefully you guys are not getting the crazy rainy weather we have still been getting. It's MAY for crying out loud. lol It should be close to summer weather.
@@yardrescue yes, I'm in Lakewood, (think south of Seattle which is 🤮 ick!) we did get a couple weeks of 'rain of old'. But with the environment changing over the last 15yrs, we don't get the rain like before (the joke about it *always* rains here.). We are super lucky to have awesome 4 seasons of weather. Which part of Oregon are you?
@@smedina146 oh okay. Yeah we always used the phrase “it’s always raining in Oregon” cus it used to about 9 months of the year. I’m in the north west area. It’s nice cus we can get to the beach in about an hour and change.
Hermoso trabajo saludos desde Buenos Aires Argentina Emilce 😊
Fa!
Hopefully you will come back and do the backyard for a part 2. Seems the back is always forgotten😥😥
Oh the back is even cooler! Stay tuned 😉
Great job on the yard! Badly needs power washed. House, sidewalks and all concrete work/walls and driveway. Are you doing the back yard later?
You’re absolutely right. It really needs pressure washing. And stay tuned for the back. 😉
Wow
👍👍👍
And you cleaned up MORE trees after I added my first comment! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Question though: why edge so far in and down to dirt? It seems that would be an invitation for weeds.
Thank you. The reason for the crazy spaced edging was just reestablishing what she had previously. I don’t see a reason to go that far either, it’s just what she had.
Good job, driveway needs to be power washed..
✨🏆✨😊
What is the tool that you use at beginning of this video Look real handy as you did the tree
It’s one of my favorites. It’s a fiskars brand pruner. I wish I was sponsored by them. I’d love to have more of their tools.
It distresses me to see beautiful shrubs and trees turned into lollipops! Nothing is allowed to grow as it should.
Lol 😂 that’s a good one
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if someone could power wash her whole house and driveway and sidewalk?!
Yeah that would be sweet. Maybe an idea for the future 🤷♂️ but not sure if this channel’s audience would all support it.
