This Mahakal Temple is a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to the lord Shiva. The Temple was built in 1782 by Lama Dorjey Rinzing. Hence it is an amalgamation of Hindu and Buddhist religion; an unique religious site where both religions coexist harmoniously.
