Cadbury's Coronation Street Sponsors Montage (1996-2002)

- An almost complete montage of Cadbury's Coronation Street sponsors from September 1996 to February 2002. These are just the opening sponsors only, haven't included break bumpers or closing sponsors.
You can see the different variations and styles across the 6 years. I haven't included some of the special ones, namely some of the Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day sponsors. Just the regular ones with the odd special one here and there. I'm also missing the opening Time Out from 2000. I have the closing sponsor but haven't included it here, it featured the same music as Time Out Chunky.
The dates come from Coronation Street episodes uploaded by an uploader named MrMagister (I think) and a site with the address www.corriespace.com that had pictures of sponsors with episode reviews. I obtained the dates from there 10 years ago and the site is sadly defunct now. I don't know the exact dates for Astros Purple and Milk Tray 1 but debuted before Autumn 1997 from the dates I have.

God used to love these as kid watching corrie with my mum.
Oddly, I only watched Coronation Street between 1996-2002. This in my mind is an extension of the theme tune.
Same with me, I only turned into Coronation Street just to watch these Cadbury's Sponsorships

Usually sponsorship is the most irritating part of a program, eg think of the ones for The Chase, and of course how bad the meerkat ones were that went on for a decade on Corrie from 2010, with these they were so creatively done and the theme was so good it added something to the viewer experience and was familiar as the coronation street theme itself! Best sponsorship ever and I don't like many of them I can tell you!

Primitive CGI, it's aged far worse than any other form of animation, even Steamboat Willie-era shit.

Cadbury's Astros are a product of Cadbury South Africa and if you go to the right places you can still buy them in the UK (albeit at very expensive prices!)
