If you are looking to provide some privacy or a wind break and protection from the elements to your 270 XT Awning set-up, this high quality awning wall kit is the perfect solution.
The Awning Wall Kit - 270 XT Awning come as a complete kit with four walls and telescopic poles. Three of the walls have a large window in them and one wall has a large door opening that rolls up to the top, the door also has a large window in it. All of the walls are interchangeable so you can choose where you want the one with the door. The windows all have high quality midge mesh on the outside and a canvas flap that zips up from the bottom enabling easy management of airflow from the inside.
The canvas used in the walls is a heavy duty 260gsm rip-stop polyesters canvas that is acrylic impregnated for waterproofing. There is a 50mm wide Velcro strip across the top edge for attaching to the awning and the walls are attached to each other using a quality YKK plastic zip. The walls have a large 400mm high PVC 'mud skirt' running around the base of the walls, the variable tie down points for the walls are stitched into the PVC skits to accomodate different vehicle heights. The poles that are supplied with the walls extend to a maximum height of 2.6m, these are inserted into the pre-drilled holes in the trussed arms of the awning, and for the rear arm there is a loop supplied that is used to secure the pole.

What about having a roof opening for roof tents. Only way I see to have a roof tent here is to have the ladder up around the far side of the truck but if you build a hole into your awning roof to allow a ladder up that would be nice 👍🏻
If u had zippers to attached the wall at the top and the pole to fold up or down under the truss with led lights recessed in the truss and the pole as it could be light with no walls on.
Looks like a top product. Definitely on the ultimate build list. Can I ask why you went Velcro instead of zips to attach walls to the awning. Will the velcro eventually lose its hold like my shoes used to in grade 2?
G'day, the Velcro we use is the real deal not a cheap knock off, plus it is the heavy duty version so should easily last the lifespan of the awning.

Looks like a great addition to the awning and was awaiting for this to come out but for over 2K the price point is way to high for most to consider. Should be around the 1k mark max IMO.
Hi Scott, thanks for your comment. These are not cheap quality walls like you would get for some other brands. There is a lot of work that is required to make them. As a comparison, the walls for an Alucab Shadow Awning are $2400. If you can get a canvas maker to make you anything even close in terms of features and quality for $1K we would love to know about it.
Bush company gear is quality for sure mate, had the awning first Absolutely love how quick and easy it is to set up compared to my last typical pull out awning Even in the wind. Now have an Alpha tent and am blown away by how good that is as well Pay the money for years of hassle free reliability
Had an oztent for years. It’s like buying an oztent compared to a pop up tent half it’s price. oztent is hassle free reliability as well. For me it was anyway

Instead of rolling up the door, is there the ability (ie. Eyelets) to extend canopy?
Yes, there are eyelets in the base of the door so it can be poled and pegged out if required.
