I think the First Lady got a real fright. I hope she realises how lucky she was to encounter a cop with a big heart, and understanding of her circumstances.
She said she was 22 and has an 8 year old??? So she started having kids at 14???? Or 13 or 12???? Come on. Really?? She doesn’t deserve a chance I don’t think.
Well, some people speeding away from police do some things legal like signaling, stopping for stop signs, waiting at red lights, etc, to not add more charges. Anybody running away from police in a vehicle will have traffic violations added to charges involving running away from police. Some people speeding away from police have some level of care to avoid tacking on traffic violations. This is not the case most of the times.
@@martinaguilar5905 If you're running from police, I don't think that's what's going through your head. I honestly think it's just habit. You're committing a felony, so not using your turn signal is so insignificant. I've never seen someone who ran get charged with running a redlight or failure to use their turn signal. I've seen plenty of videos of people running who get charged for felony evasion, plus anything else such as possession or resisting arrest. Never for anything like running a stop sign or failure to use turn signals.
@@majorasothermask1258 here in California, especially Los Angeles, anybody running away from police in a vehicle do get traffic violations added to felony charges involving running away from police. Los Angeles is known as the capital of police chases and weird police chases as well including police chases of a suspect who follow traffic laws as well as slow police chases. There was a police chase that was the longest in LAPD history lasting 6 hours going at a snail pace. Only LAPD add on the traffic violations on top of felony charges for any police chase even if the drivers was going at a snail pace.

I truly hope im wrong but my gut instinct tells me that im right.
I can't believe after 13 years of marriage she would try and let her husband take the fall for her. When he doesn't even use drugs. He needs to make her go to rehab or get out.
They both were using, wait till he looks away from the officer, crack scabs all over the neck up until the cheekbone. Only reason he has a beard is to hide all the scars. Both addicts.
WOW! I have never seen a cop give someone such a break! That first lady was so in the wrong having drugs and kids together in the car with no license! That was a gamble on the cops part! If she takes this as a real opportunity to fix her life, then god bless, but she could also neglect the children or bring predators into the house with them in the pursuit of getting high..

Would be interesting to see what developed in that situation. The young girl seemed to scared out of her wits about the situation. Gotta wonder if she was forced to do things . She stopped as soon as the males were out of the car. The counterfeit money, car stolen etc seemed like a situation she might have been forced or threatened to do things.
Number 7 started out a little odd. She got out said hello in a flirting way, knew him by name and called him baby til she realized he was serious. I wonder if that nice officer helps her get home from time to time 😂

The first video shows that the police acted very generously sometimes. I hope the fear of losing children will help this woman overcome drug addiction. These two things are incompatible-children and addiction to alcohol or drugs. Very great respect for this act of the policeman.
It’s always hilarious when cops say “if you tell me where it is, I won’t have to search the whole car”. As though if someone hands over what they have the cop will say “ok, now I won’t bother searching the car”. It’s simply to solidify the case so it’s impossible to claim they didn’t know it was in the car. If you tell them it’s over. The ultimate outcome will be EXACTLY the same if you tell them or they find it.
Reading and understanding Americans constitutional rights is not what the government wants. Use it or lose it. America 🇺🇸 works well if you understand the law.
That's not all it is.... It saves the officer a bunch of time digging, AND it gives the officer an idea about how truthful a person is. If that first woman HADN'T fessed up, she WOULD have went to jail, and her kids WOULD have been with CPS. Also, if you're truthful with an officer, most times they WILL inform the D.A. that you cooperated, and we're honest with him. That CAN go a long way during sentencing for your case. Maybe if you wised up just a bit, you'd realize how to be an adult, and the perks that come along with it. 🤷🏻
@@davelowets ok officer. I won’t elaborate on the complete insanity of the “drug war”. Making laws based on one persons definition of “intoxication” as opposed to another is idiotic. Regardless, had this woman simply invoked her right to remain silent, the cop never would’ve found it and she never would’ve been in that position. Was she irresponsible? Yes. Did this ordeal possibly set her onto a more health corse? Perhaps. I’m simply pointing out the fact that a police officer stating “let me know now or it’ll be worse if I have to find it” is complete nonsense. Prosecuting attorneys never speak to the arresting officer in low level arrests like this. They simply read the arrest reports and form plea bargains based on the defendants legal council and strength of the case. I’m simply pointing out that admitting and informing the location of contraband to a cop has absolutely zero effect on the end result. It’s exactly the same as field sobriety tests. The test are a tool for the prosecution. They have no bearing on the cops determination “to see where you’re at”. If asked to perform FST’s, it’s 99.999% decided you’re arrested. Having a completely subjective “test” to submit as evidence is very useful.
@@davelowets u obviously have no lie what you’re talking about. Do u really think they tell the judge that you were honest when u got caught with dope? They don’t care and no one mentions that in a court room. Second, how do u know the cop still wouldn’t have let her go if she didn’t tell him there was more dope in the purse? I mean she did originally lie and said there was nothing in there so why do u think he potentially wouldn’t let it slide a second time? lol I still can’t stop shaking my head about u really believing the whole being honest at the time of arrest has any impact on your sentencing or treatment during pre trial. These videos are an excellent way to show the public that the job of cops is very challenging and that those they are arresting who scream and resist arrest are the ones in the wrong. And that the cops are the good guys and need to be commended.
I loved watching these shows back the day every Saturday night. I wish they were still on tv

I was very moved by the one cop who confronted the woman with children. He was sincere, and showed genuine compassion for her and her kids. She’ll probably keep using, but that’s just the nature of substance abuse. At least, she was told.

Wow the 1st cops had me crying a little. I hope that girl learned from it and Is doing well.
In the 90's I worked in a sleep lab. It had eight beds. The rooms were all aligned along the same wall. On a Friday, you could walk past any of the eight rooms and they'd all be watching cops. Hearing "Bad Boys, Bad Boys..." echoing down the hallway was my typical Friday.
I think the First Lady got a real fright. I hope she realises how lucky she was to encounter a cop with a big heart, and understanding of her circumstances.

I love when people run from police, but still use their turning signals lmao.
Most of the times people running away on a vehicle do not care about anything else besides running away from police. Those who do follow traffic laws are uncommon but still face mandatory jail time.

The only reason I stopped was because of the natural consequences I created. If I hadn't given it my all, I would've probably stayed in my addiction asking myself "what if...?"
What a nice way to handle to girl with the permit. The officer was kind and understood that she was going to get in enough trouble as it was. It’s nice to see that this side of COPS.

That lady in the first video better take that chance and run with it. She was given a huge break, unfortunately I have a bad feeling that she is still doing the same crap and may have already lost custody of her kids, which would be the best thing for them since she is taking them to dope houses. I can't believe after 13 years of marriage she would try and let her husband take the fall for her. When he doesn't even use drugs. He needs to make her go to rehab or get out.

its so sad watching people on drugs or drunk
Um....or don't have drugs on you at all??🤦🏼♀️
@@davelowets u obviously have no lie what you’re talking about.
