Genius! 🌸🌸🌸. In regards to the color wheel, one rule of thumb that I find helpful is that all color opposites make a form of gray. Purple + Yellow = Gray Orange + Blue = gray Red + green = Brownish gray So if you want purple and yellow flowers, the colors must be dried in between so they don’t mix. Hope this is helpful. The Art Sherpa has a ton of painting videos based on the color wheel, although we are not painting, we do try and blend. Happy Crafting!
Mind blown wow , thank you for sharing ! Weirdly I was thinking to use glitter but mica hadn’t crossed my mind , how amazing! All I need is some heat it powder & I can make any colour I want 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️🥳🥳😁! Thank you 😊
I love the cards with the text the best. Especially the green and yellow foliage card. so beautiful. Keep the ideas coming because my well seems to be dry at times. Love your channel.
Thanks Sasha for this video. Bought a bag that had 60 jars of Mica powders in it for $5 at a yard sale. So I am going to really have fun with them and my clear UTEE! : )
Very nice! Made me want to get out my mica powders! The melt-it powder is out of stock in many places, so guess I'm just going to use plain old clear embossing powder! LOL
So much fun! This technique is amazing. Thank you for your wonderful tutorial. p.s. Craft Stash USA doesn’t ship out of country - not even to Canada. 🇨🇦😩
Great to see what you did🥰👍🏻 memento.inks are my favorite inks, great to see you used them for background stamping.. i love heat embossing for the effect too, this was a LOTof it 😅 bye.
I’ve done this with UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel/powder) for years. It’s so fun! I used old eyeshadow as a mica powder. This was a very cool video! Love your color choices!
Great idea. I have the huge jar of clear UTEE. Got a bag with 60 jars of Mica powder in it at a yard sale for $5. Am I ever going to have fun! Thanks for the idea!
Wow! These are gorgeous! You've given me so many ideas and you're right, it's important to fun with crafting, otherwise, it would be rather pointless doing it. Thank you so much Sasha.
I have did things like this for years, especially on word die cuts. You can really strengthen the finer cuts doing this, I use Ranger chunky clear embossing powder.
These came out amazing. I have seen that melt powder and wondered what you would use it for, and now I know and will have to go get some! I love watching you create.
Absolutely STUNNING!! I so enjoy watching your videos. I always learn something and love how much fun you have “playing”. I’m fairly new to stamping and have a couple of questions I hope you don’t mind answering for me. 1) There are so many different types of inks, can you explain which type is best for which project? 2) how is this technique different than just using coloured embossing powder? Thanks so much….keep these great videos coming 😊
I want to guide you to the channel Include a thank you and then some. Desiree explained the different inks recently. It's a lot of information so that's why it's better to see a video about it. 😊 The effect with the melt it is a bit more varied in colour then using embossing powder but you can definatly use embossing powder! Hope to have helped you along here, have a good day.
Hi Sasha I was wondering if you've tried Alina's adhesive vellum yet and if so is it any good, I ordered some but haven't received it yet so I was wondering if it is any good, by the way love the idea I do have the melt it powder so now I know how I can use it thanks for sharing
I have seen the trays, but never got one because I thought it would create problems with static electricity and embossing powders sticking to the tray. Do you ever have an issue with that?? I currently use a tray made out of heavy weight cardstock, but it’s much smaller and I could not use anything as large as the butterfly. I love my play days in the craft room. I am looking forward to the next few birthdays to have an excuse to escape the other chores that are pressing! Thank you.

If you have an anti static bag you can give it a quick rub around before you use it it seems to keep it from happening for me. I hope this helps.
Great ideas here! Can you or anyone else tell me why use memento inks? The only Memento ink I have is black. Should I get the other colors??
