I’m sure the weight regain for her was inevitable, statistics show that if someone is disciplined during the pre op and 2 weeks after, they will succeed
The hospital gives you socks, gown, gas meds, and I'd recommend wearing your take home outfit to the hospital, you're only wearing it a few minutes before you change into a gown.
Just heading into vsg Dr. visits and the info set up dates and whatever. I am trying out the semi liquid diet to try and get used to the all liquid diet. I am thinking positive thoughts and looking forward to the vsg in the Coos Bay/North Bend, Oregon hospital. Your info is a great help and I thank you so much.

contsentkonfusion I read this before she showed everything. And I was like "okay. I guess that is a little funny." Then when I saw it on camera I ended up spitting my water everywhere. Hahahahaha
Thursday Jan.19th is my 4hr surgery orientation. How long after orientation did you get a surgery date? Do I have to see a therapist/counselor and join a support group in order to get approved for surgery?
MZLISH2U Congrats! I'm doing great, 3 years Post Op now. You are welcome to follow me and my support group at Cornerstone Bariatric Support Group on Facebook.
thanks for your video.. it was pretty helpful.. I have placed myself back (yes, I do mean back) on the clear liquid diet 2 years after surgery I gain about 30 back.. and ITS BIKKI SEASON SOON.. so I needed and update to keep me going .. THanks :D
:) I'm finding that lowering my carbs and raising my fats has helped me get back on track. I do my best to stay below 100g of carbs and over 100g a fat per day. Check out Keto Diets, I'm not 100% Keto but I've introduced aspects of it in my daily eating.
Oooo... I'm a lab tech, You need to watch your Total Carbs! If there's any Fiber, subtract that from your total carbs & that's your Total Net Carbs. This is not a good video. You also need the sodium to hold on to your water intake or at least sip on something with electrolytes!
I just want to know why are you bringing food when the hospital will have what you need? Your doctor will have you on a strict liquid diet. The clothes I understand but food NO .
A lot of these food have a ton of carbs. It’s interesting to see the differences between doctors nationwide
I’m sure the weight regain for her was inevitable, statistics show that if someone is disciplined during the pre op and 2 weeks after, they will succeed
I can’t eat most of this on my pre-op diet. Thanks for the video though. I hope your surgery was a success 😊
