Where have all the flowers gone?🏴. That's right Ivor, i know I'm steaming up thinking about your last outing in full livery and this is a dirty diesel loco.
the volunteers are they all allowed to walk on the slippers on the points because they are staff they are allowed and they are definitely wearing orange high viz.
@@kieranhands4926Not really. The reason for not walking on sleepers is because are slippery and a fall hazard, and pointwork is a trip hazard. Makes no difference whether you have hiviz or on a preserved line. A fall is a fall, and a trip is a trip, and a likely injury wherever you are....
Loved the departure whistles from all the locos
Thank you for your comment
Retiring Britain’s greatest train, the HST, is an act of stupidity.
There are still HST's. I get on one into London Paddington almost daily doing 125 to 127mph.
To be fair, the oldest of them is approaching fifty years old. I can just about remember their introduction on the Western Region in 1976......
Nothing stays the same hoe could it these beauty's have had their best days ,they should preserve at least one for mainline running 🏃♂️ 😊
Great vid but your video is going round and up down getting dizzy on my sofa sogood 😅
I thought the last bloke climbing up to the cab was never going to make it 😮
OK, but you can watch it on my channel the HST

Crossing tracks over points, walking on sleepers. Do none of these people remember their PTS?!
