While its not dog shit like kanna but it’s definitely a bottom 10 job. A paladin my stats beats my damage AND can provide huge support. Hero both beats u on and off burst by miles AND can increase party dmg. Kaiser only good at boosting dojo or basic solo content. That is facts.
kaiser was terrible horrible in the past, and most veterans avoided kaiser religiously. But kaiser has gotten so many good buffs in the recent years and making a kaiser boss mule was one of the best decisions ive ever made
@imezxdchannel yeah I heard about Kaiser having a huge hotbox and obviously very little burst. Thankfully we got a number of buffs and fixes and even an actual half decent burst with 6th. Overall, I think Kaiser is in an acceptable state and is still fun, though I'd appreciate an AB style remaster

I keep telling people Kaiser isn't bad even when I outdamage them in party play 90% of the time. They still think Kaiser is bad. It really isn't THAT bad. Burst is shit but that's literally the class' only problem
As a Kaiser main myself, I feel that the class is in a good state right now, a bit of burst adjustment would make it the best class to solo which only take average investment to be playable, while you need to invest more to make "top" classes playable. People who said Kaiser sucks are just probably those who play the game via youtube or at the early state of the game.

It’s strictly built for soloing and here’s why : Current maplestory meta is 3 min burst along with Oz rings Guage classes are not recommended in current maplestory meta especially for ones who can only fill up gauges by hitting enemies. Burst cycle with other team members can be messed up. Kaiser is also a huge consistsnt damage class that’s why this guy equips “continuous ring 4” Not really get a long well with party bossing And of course being a major dps class why does that matter ? Well all the things I just listed, not great for party bossing But ignore all this, even the title for this video makes me laugh In the beginning of this video Y’all seen his gear. That many pb 22 and some double prime lines just insane. His gear is probably in top 5% in gms reboot. It’s really good and at this point any other classes with this gear would be this great. You can’t have someone with this incredibly gear and say some class is secretly OP lol like you serious ? lol It’s not the class at this point but more of gear and stats I’m not saying Kaiser is bad but definitely not op or even in top tier. Kaiser sucks. Zero support skills and no burst. 2min in a 3min burst centric meta. No party will pick you to push for end game content. Only good for mules farming basic content. Any Kaiser that says Kaiser is good is coping.
The class isn't optimal in endgame party settings and isn't an S tier pickup like NW sure, but among dps choices its up in the top 1/3 for dmg rn. The class is the best cont4 ring user, and is top 1/3 of classes that received the most final dmg from 6th job and NewAge. Both combined Kaiser received prob top 10 most dmg from 1 patch out of any class in this game. Kaiser is also prob the most flexible class to play either 2 min or 3 min in the game, anyone who says the class is currently bad have just outdated opinions when this is the best state the class has been since 2015

They have realigned many of his issues with the gauge cycle being off sync and made buffs/QOL and yes we have another burst in 6th after inferno. But when you look at end game there is a literal gap when you see chaos/extreme kalos, normal/chaos/extreme kaling. You can't cross because you are so unoptimised. Many jobs of equal stats can do them farming 6 months to maybe a year worth of shards ahead of you. Down right depressing. Conti4 can't align in party play either because of burst support buff stacking ror4 or even wjs4 is better. He is still far from being even considered average with what other jobs can do kalos and above. The shield/burst meta is getting ingrained deeper and deeper into bossing mechanics.
