I got into painting right during the pandemic and discovered. I actually have quite a decent eye for water coloring and have been water coloring for years. Then I dove into acrylics and I’m really enjoying acrylics and I decided to timestamp the day of the election with my first painting, I am using Windsor Newton Oils and Gamblin as the medium. I was wondering what paints and medium you utilize because your consistency is always so buttery and smooth and allows for you to paint in the style that I have really been enjoying. Thank you in advance for your time and any thoughts or advice
I'm not using any mediums, just straight paint. I've been using Georgian Titanium white recently, and a lot of Blick (studio grade) oils. I've been happy with it all. I've never gotten into using "professional grade" oils. I've not seen the need for them, plus lots of my peers are also using "student grade" oils with great results. Hope that helps!
@@turnervinsonI believe his comment was sarcasm? Because you did so much..in my eyeballs, your style presents itself better on a bigger scale of canvas.
