এই ছেলেটা অবশ্যই ওরকম Environment এ বড় হয়েছে এবং ইংরেজিতে কথা বলার অনেক বছরের অভিজ্ঞতা আছে। আইএলটিএস কোর্স করেই এভাবে কথা বলা সম্ভব নয়। ইংরেজিতে কথা বলার উপরও অভিজ্ঞতা থাকতে হয়। যে যত অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জন করবে সে তত maturity,perfection আর সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ confidence এর সাথে ইংরেজিতে কথা বলতে পারবে।

He does not speak similar to a native English speaker, however he does communicate his responses successfully. I really didn't encounter major difficulties understanding him
Well, to be a consistent Native English speaker. He needs to improve his pronounciations and there were slight grammatical mistakes that also needed to be perfected. As him being from an English Medium background, had much more expectations from him. Nonetheless he's all good to go!
Naval architecture was my dream subject. There is an opportunity to study this subject only in BUET. But I couldn't achieve that. But now I am studying Architecture. I've noticed some unnecessary linking words there. I live in Dhaka. So,..... Why do you need "So" here? Moreover, overuse of "So" is a bad practice.

it's just better to keep your answers simple and short and right on point, being under the impression that having a long ass answer for every question when your replies are off the context will get you extra marks is not rational thinking
But these kinds of short answers doesn't give the examiner enough information to judge your skills on. So giving long answers gives you better opportunity to show your vocabulary.
If i would be in your place then I would never award him 8band because; lack of realism & no impression just like a robot..... dude be real human in interview board .

English আমার সমস্যা না। কোনো thought মাথায় আসলে আমি fluenty বলতে পারি। কিন্ত মাথায় কিছুই আসে না। আমার সমস্যা হইল আমি কি বলব ওইটাই বুঝিনা। বাংলা ইংলিশ কোনাটাতেই। ছোট থেকেই অনেক ইনট্রোভার্টেড আর কম কথা বলি। এই ভাই যেমন একেকটা প্রশ্ন অনেক ডিটেইলে বলতেছে, আমি বলার মত কিছু খুজেই পাই না..... কি করব?
আমার ও একই অবস্থা। এর কিছু সলিউশন হতে পারে.. যেমন: জানার পরিধি বাড়ানো, যে টপিকটা নিয়ে পড়ব বা জানব একই টপিক বারবার বিভিন্ন জায়গা থেকে পড়া। আর কারো সাথে কথা শেয়ার করার চেষ্টা করা।

Didn't take few seconds to grasp the questions, answered them instantly. Were questions known beforehand or maybe he is too good. When she asked "how was your first day like", I was thinking about my first day and took some time to answer it, he responded instantly (That's why I had that question in my mind).

If you talk about fluency then I have to say that the examiner should always ask questions slowly even though he/she knows the very accurate fluency so that the student can understand the proper expression of the examiner. Perhaps you are not acquainted 'bout the examiner's (Munzereen Shahid)own IELTS speaking score.

Just a tip from an English medium teacher myself (with 10+ years experiences). If you need more tips then I'll be happy to provide for free.

Thats never a band 8 in speaking. I took the test myself and by my experience i can say that he should be graded 7 or 7.5
Make sure to slow down and articulate your sentences, this im sure will yield you an even higher score 👍

he obviously mispronounces a few words because of his speaking speed, he shoulda reduced it a lil bit.
Didn't take few seconds to grasp the questions, answered them instantly. Were questions known beforehand or maybe he is too good. When she asked "how was your first day like", I was thinking about my first day and took some time to answer it, he responded instantly (That's why I had that question in my mind).

The student's English fluency is better than the teacher here.
If you talk about fluency then I have to say that the examiner should always ask questions slowly even though he/she knows the very accurate fluency so that the student can understand the proper expression of the examiner.
Perhaps you are not acquainted 'bout the examiner's (Munzereen Shahid)own IELTS speaking score.

@@94D33M well , it depends. Some ppl don't like fast talking and if sm1 like that ends up being the examiner ... that's bad news for the examinee. Otherwise what u said will hold most prbly.
