In 13th question CP will be 24 so ratio of quantities will be 4:1 so 4 parts of milk = 1000ml so value of 1 will be 250ml so answer will be 1 part of water = 250ml

no, actually the question asked how much water is added to pure 1000ml of milk not 1000ml of mixture, you confused both milk and mixture

    • @mehtavishal4614

I think it could be done by simple percentage method let me show it how . 1/5 is 20% . He is making 20% of profit on every 5p i.e 1p. So the ratio between milk to water would be 4:1. So the milk is 800ml and water is 200ml. You could even get to answer just by taking the 20% of 1000ml

    Sir, at Q.12
If we take P and Q
    60000×12/100×24/12(2 year)= 14400
    Same as 9% it will be= 10800
After that we subtract with interest (both P and Q)
    My answer will be 4:2
    And then 4+2 = 6
    So, in Q 9% p.a will be 60000/6= 10000
then 10000×2 it will be 20000
    And P will be 40000
    So, my answer will be
    P AND Q
    40000 and 20000
Is it right please reply 🙏????

Hi, if you have understood till the part where he has taken out the ratio of quantity of milk and water which is 5:1. I will help you further with the explanation that, here it is asked find the quantity of water mixed with each litre of milk. Here, if you notice and consider 5x litre of milk for 1x litre of water for the mixture, then, for 1x litre of milk, it must be 1/5x litre of water for the mixture. Ratios are never real values so, we have to consider variables with it. So, for 1x litre of milk, we notice it must be 1/5x litre of water. Thus, we convert it to ml, 1litre= 1000 ml, 1/5x litre would be 200x ml. Thus, for every 1x litre of milk, there would be 200x ml of water in the mixture. This is what i have learnt and understood from the video.
