Hi Harry....in answer to your points on the Scots being known as Britons is not totally correct. The Welsh were the original Britons who were forced to North Wales, the East Irish Coast and Southern Scotland after the Roman invasion. Secondly, where on my original post did I blame the English? Ah a guilty conscious. Simply we as a nation, the British, can be transfixed in finger pointing at other nations less than palatable past when our own domestic and foreign history is far from perfect.

That is the nature of English documentaries that are about German history/culture, I'm afraid. Oh and Disney songs/films in German which are marked as "German".
Less Welles more Galloway
It´s the island Rügen, Ruger is a gun maker. Btw, a nice portrait of Rügen by BBC Four:

Hilarious. Well done with the closet racism. For which, I believe, SOME of you are renowned ;-)
Who Germans or British?
@@ktkee7161 my comment was eight years ago and I cannot locate the original comment. Without that context, I can’t enlighten you. Sorry.
He did.
Oh thank you, you shouldn't have...!
Now I'm feeling very embarrassed.
And scowls at the bullies.
I think you mean Rügen. Nice little island, indeed.
Germany is a fantastic country for holidays. The people are polite, it's clean and inexpensive (everything Britain is not).
Know very little, your statement ''The people are polite'',wow, you are so wrong in that sense, they are far from being polite, even german people agree that germans are ignorant and impolite.live in the country for a while and you will see.not just holiday.I'm Irish born but lived here(Germany) 10 years.
I find your comment unnecessarily rude...
Yes British people are famously impolite (tosser)
