Funny thing about 600 Kampfer (because I'm insane). It has enough part slots to put a good amount of beam def/hp parts to compensate. Not perfect by any means, but enough to get your job done as a Kampfer. But the main idea is to keep moving in the Kampfer. Once you stop. You are done.

HG gets reprinted pretty often the MG is pbandai tho but got a reprint recently so it should be relatively easy to get one soon
The Jesta cannon is pretty solid, I enjoy it quite a bit. I also got the hizak with the burst fire shoulder cannon and I went 9 kills 1 death in my first match with it
The beam cannon also has piercing when fully charged and the Jesta cannon has the beast flash bomb in the game imo
I find it funny that it can use its beam saber that technically unreachable under its arm shield. i still want a suit that has the ability to purge extra armor as a trigger-able or hp tied ability, the manga version of the the gustav karl in Hathways flash would be a good example.
Sandrock (I think was the name?) Had a cloak it dropped when entering combat too. I agree it would be a really cool mechanic to have.
the Jesta Cannon (in gbo2 anyway) has the left side hip skirt replaced with the beam saber holder (similar to the Jegan but the Jegan's is on it's right side)
Never noticed since i have not pulled it myself but that is cool to know.
The cannon types are always fun.
It takes 3 shots to stun uncharged with the main gun.
Even on this map people want to do the circle around at the start really?

I’m kind of surprised we got this already, I thought during the anniversary they might throw one more big suit our way. There aren’t many things left in unicorn to do but there are alternate variations of certain things and they still haven’t released Angelo’s Zulu that is pretending it’s a Hama Hama.
How much weaponry does this have compared to the GM Bulldog?
I'm pretty sure it's the same amount.

I love my kämpfer, and will absolutely take it out at any cost, but it's absolutely a play without getting hit sorta machine. Isolate, and stunlock, overextending is death
Have not seen many Kampfers at high cost much, but have seen quite a few Pixies and that is equally a glass cannon, granted that it at least have stealth.
I've been waiting for this thing! Looks like the wait was worth it

honestly after seeing what one swing from my Pixie (LA) Scythe can do to a Kampfer im not sure if its one id want to use at any cost never mind 600, literally had a 1v1 with one in the tunnels on Supply Depot when it came out and one downswing was almost enough to kill it
The pixie LA just hits hard in general, most kampfers are usually built as glass cannons due to low defenses (even if you buff the highest defense which is melee it doesn't have the health to benefit)
Frankly a pixie LA lvl2 or 3 would be a nightmare lol
@@masterds64 i know Pixie LA hits hard but when you hit most generals the disadvantage usually leaves them with more than 1 beam shot worth of health

Monthly MS bonus is the most recent 3-star and up MS added to the lottery drop. So you get a small bonus for owning the newest MS.

judging by the reactions and the silence maybe BB Studios is re evaluation porting the game since its not cross play nor cross save having only a few hundred players is going to make match making a nightmare. People will probably wait half an hour for a match. I'm not sure it's a good idea to pour money and resources into a port that isn't going to get at least 1,000 players.
@@Darth1Marik I'm surprised they thought it was okay to go ahead without crossplay/save to begin with. They immediately lose the most dedicated players because no serious player wants to lose their entire hanger and go on a schedule different to the playstation version. Can't imagine the PC version being worth it otherwise.
@@WingedZero8 thats whats bothering me the PC crowd is almost non existent in Japan so their only hope was to pair it with the Western PC audience but they've now alienated a portion of the playerbase.
I don't want to see this PC version fail because it took Sunrise forever to give us a Gundam game in English. For years they believed the Western market for Gundam was dead. Now BB Studios is mishandling a PC port for a Gundam game and if it fails they'll think , "We were right Gundam games don't do well in the West."
Then we'll be back to the dark times of years with no Gundam game localizations.
@@Darth1Marik I think we're past that lull of Gundam games making their way west and can't imagine that changing with GBO2's PC release failing. SD Battle Alliance is about to come out, Evolution is on the way and is focused on the western audience and pulling in non-fans. Last few years we've gotten SD Cross Rays, Versus and Maxi Boost. We're more likely than ever to get Gundam titles like we did back on the Playstation 2.
GBO2 is such a cheap localization in that it's mostly interface translation and some image editing. The only text heavy translation work they have to do is MS biographies so even a small western player base is fine for the game as long as some of them are spending money.
It's an entirely different beast when they mention the PC release will be a separate entity with its own infrastructure. It's just not worth it at that point. Even more so with Evolution coming to PC and that they're going as far as to push it as an esport. Maybe there's potential that with the attention Evolution attracts it will in turn make players aware of the other F2P PVP Gundam game on Steam when they see it in recommendations and want to try a more "grounded" mobile suit game. But that's operating off a lot of assumptions. Hopefully they change their minds find a way to make the PC version integrated with the PS version.

Other than the Beam Rifle and Beam Cannon, this thing is loaded with useless weapons. I like this suit but it just does not put out enough damage and gets killed too easily.

honestly if you missed the banner at the start of the anniversary then you're not likely to get Unicorn, without a boosted 4 star banner or excessively throwing money at the game its incredibly rare to get a 4 star and now the 4 star pool has grown to a decent size the chances of getting Unicorn specifically are very slim
@@GrayFolxy yeah Byarlant Custom seems to be the most common 4 star probably cause its got multiple levels while a lot of other 4 stars are lvl 1 700 cost
You run the Lv4 Kampfer with Heavy Armor Lv1, Anti-Beam Armor Lv2, and Anti-Ballistic Armor Lv2 for 25 beam defense, 25 ballistic defense, and 40 melee defense.
that dude was ballsy bringing a Kampfer to 600. Judging by the damage he was taking he likely didn't add any beam defense which is a big mistake for Kampfers. If you're going to run one at 600 better stuff a bunch of beam defense. Lots of nasty beam weapons at 600.
Kampfers have the tool kit to work at 600, the issue is their base defenses are garbage even at native and literally nothing can fix it, they have to get the first shot off and run away the second things get dicey or accept the death.
I've seen do well even among A+ and S-...but most of the time they get isolated and it's game over, I just refuse to sortie with them, hard enough trying to keep the support up the back alive let alone the glass cannon ahead of everyone
@@masterds64 I never said they didn't have a proper loadout to succeed I just said the guy was ballsy. Kampfers have amazing stun and damage capabilities but if you don't do something about that low defense you're asking to be a liability to your team.
