Marielle and Megan discuss chapters 1-12 of March's BotM, Frostbitten by Rebecca Zanetti.

Our hero, Scott Terentson, is a lawyer, and he's helping his mom out by taking on a divorce case for her friend, which he rarely does.
Millicent Frost, our heroine, is an HDD agent that Scott thinks of like Q from the James Bond films.
They run into each other while she's undercover in the office building of Scott's client's soon to be ex-husband, who is a real piece of work.

2 months later she's having to blow her case (and maybe lose her job?!) by testifying at the divorce trial about what she saw at the office. She wants to punch Scott SO HARD.

But the next day, while visiting her ailing aunt in West Virginia, she wakes up next to the dead body of her ex-boyfriend from high school, and she needs a lawyer ASAP!

Luckily this is the town she grew up in so most people don't think she really did it. But she and Scott need to figure out what really happened, before anything else goes wrong...
