  • Tsuzuki-san repaired memorial tablets (ihai) and household altars destroyed by the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami in northeast Japan. Here he shares what he learned through this experience. He also asks how we as humans relate to these objects, whether they can be adequalte be described as "things."
