@@blacksabbath222 It’ll definitely be something special to see what he can do with the max squat at the Arnold’s. My guy killed it at the Força Bruta so he’s definitively looking in shape to make some ridiculous numbers
@@JPqbss It's hard to predict, the younger guys are on fire. I'm from Quebec (like J-F), so I want him to win. But guys like Martins Licis, Tom Stoltman, Oleksiy Novikov and Mateusz Kieliskowski are incredible. Evan Singleton is improving every year, as Bobby Thombson and other younger guys. If J-F wants to win, he must do it in the next 2-3 years max. I don't think he will have the longevity of let's say Mark Felix. I wish him the best, and I hope one day, as you said, the events will suit him and that he will nailed it. Take care 💪 Edit: We never had a World Strongest Man title here in Canada. It would be awesome if J-F is the one that brings it home. If anyone can do it right now, it's him. Maxime is on the right path too !
My favorite is JF checking on Maxime after and helping him get his gear off. He is competing too. Strongman has the best sportsmanship and camaraderie change my mind 💪
That’s didn’t work out so well. Brian kinda failed himself not scoring major points on the log and deadlift which Tom failed on those events but still Tom walked away wsm. Brian had a chance two chances to go up in points even if he got beat on the Stones Brian still would’ve won wsm had he placed 1st with log and deadlift
Bobby Thompson is lacking experience (like he said himself in an interview). The guy is definitely on the way to become a static monster. Don't get me wrong, he is a static monster already. I meant, if he's injuries free in the next couple years, he will be one of the craziest static monster ever. He wants to break the 505kg deadlift one day. I believe he can ! Go Bobby ! 💪
He needs to learn to pace himself better, like early on he was going great, but then I saw that he wasn’t slowing down, and I knew he wasn’t going to get ten.
I agree with you ! Doing those crazy lifts under the sun must be very taxing on the body. WSM has always been held outside (if the weather allows it). It seems like to be a strongman nowadays, you must be ready for anything. Some events are very dangerous too ! It's a dangerous sport noneoftheless.
The time was over like .5s before the lift was completed, so no. If every rep was counted if it was done just after the whistle, how could you define "just after" ? .5s? .2s? If there is no strict rules and strict referees, then the sport has no value
@@simondean5227 I wasn't replying to you, but the other guy above you. I agree with you, J-F is an incredible deadlifter. With his leg injured, to be able to equal the same amount of reps as the best on that day, it's madness. He hold the world record for the hummer tire deadlift, and I wonder how much he would be able to lift nowadays in other kind of deadlift. (Conventionnal bar and elephant bar deadlift) I can't wait for the Arnold's this year to see how much he will squat for the max squat event. He's still improving at his age, so maybe he'll win a major strongmen title one day ? I hope so. Take care 💪
JF getting 10 reps with a torn hamstring really shows how incredible of an athlete he is… that’s insane
I have always wondered what total he could put up powerlifting. He is an insanely strong static athlete.

Mr Consistent at his best shame that he hasn't won Worlds yet
Honestly if the events suit him and he comes in healthy he will win worlds

it seems like bobby would rather pass out than stop a lift and i love that
he also passed out in the log lift trying to strict lock it out
JF speaking on camera for that split second was refreshing cuz none of the athletes say anything but "yea" or "whoo" before an event
"There is no reason to be alive if you can't do deadlift" - J.P. Sigmarson
Awesome!!!
Brian Shaw vs Komstantine was an epic performance by Brian.
Thank you!
Marine Mike
Trey impressive.
I'm ready for KNAACK 2 baybeee!
Jesus, Trey's bicep in the thumbnail! 💪
I complain about WSM being difficult to watch, but I do appreciate this free content. Thanks for this, WSM.
me to. I'm so tired of not being able to just watch the whole show somehow
This was an awesome event. They should make the platforms wider though because it comes off-center often
I love Treys waiving with his hand as a protest. So cute. :P
I’m sure Brian loved having his wife shout at him to “get it up” 😂
Wasn’t his wife lol
don't get beat up

I agree. J-F and Maxime are both french Canadian, and I think they train together. It's so nice to see a strongman to cheer or help for another one. 👍
Eythor belt 🙁 why ???
Thanks for uploading.
All Brian cared about was doing more reps than Tom (I think). Also explains why he was so pumped about performing the log lift that Tom failed.

Tom has such power his pase was just too fast. If he had waited a little between some of the later reps he might have gotten 10-11 reps
I think so too but sometimes it better to save yourself for later event which was the stones

Get it up Luke! - Luke’s wife 😂
That lady really wants them to get it up
They need to stop holding these competitions in hot weather/places. It makes an already dangerous sport needlessly more dangerous.

no
They missed even singleton and the other dudes
This is the final - Evan didn’t make it cause of his shits
I think the weight shouldve been 380kg for reps not 350. It seems way too light
trey got 11
he did but not in time
he did not lock it out
Poor Trey
Trey should have been credited with the last rep.
Yeah no

Ye I didn’t really like his attitude about either Tbh
@@TheAvesMYSTR i would be a little upset putting in all the effort in the stress of the moment.
No, rules are rules and that was clearly outside of the time.
Bobby was the strongest deadlifter, unfortunately the suit got him
If JF didn't have the hamstring injury he'd definitely still beat bobby imo
Bobby wants to break the 505kg deadlift world record. He's on the right way for it.
@@yan3066 Didn't say he isn't, but based on what I've seen of them over the last two years, JF is ahead

TREY MITCHELL WILL BE THE WORLDS STRONGEST MAN
safe bet
maybe one-day. yes
if only labels were in Kgs it'd be just half at 350 Kgs and they could do 20 reps....
Much better without those annoying announcers.
how many americans though that Janashia was from the Georgia state?
