Great breakdown! I completely agree with you. When I 1st got behind the wheel of the Ocean it was an instant confirmation for me that this car is amazing! I've been adding more shares than ever at these current prices because I believe in their success.
Also if the Nizzan deal gets signed this month. The stock will rebound and at the Sametime dealers and nizzan dealers will buy the ocean. Also fisker has discount the ocean $7,500 to sell the current inventory and Fisker will be higher. Just we need the Nizzan news pronto.
Nissan has an alliance with Renault Group who are strong in Europe. With Nissan there is premium car company Infiniti and Nissan has the sports cars Z and GT-R. Mitsubishi Motors also is with this alliance and Nissan owns 34 % of Mitsubishi Motors. Mitsubishi has the L200 Pickup. There could be a L200 size EV Pickup on the Fisker Alaska base. More possibilities...
In Schaumburg IL today (Mar 30) for the Fisker Ocean test drive that husband signed up for in Jan. 2024. Got to the address on the Fisker email and no cars or people around. We took photos of us in an empty parking lot with no Fiskers. We did not get an email to cancel but not complaining because we heard of all the Fisker owners who didn’t even get ownership paperwork when their car was delivered . Bonkers!
@Ocean1 What are your thoughts on a reverse stock split like Canoo did? It seems that if executed well, it could get the price up and counter the dilution. It doesn't fix any of the real problems, but could address the perceived one. If I end up with half the shares worth about double (figuratively) what does it matter?
Challenges? The original 5000 FOO's are NOT sold out as of yet. Yes, a significant number of the first Ocean Ones remain unsold even though HF told the markets that he had over 50,000 confirmed deposits as well as a FOO waiting list way back in 2023. What happened? The reviews came in and the "buyers" disappeared and that in a nutshell is what factually happened. I enjoy mine, but I am realistic enough to know that unless Nissan invests, it's game over for the second time for HF.
My 2 Cents on what Happened. 1) Fisker was DRAMATICALLY delayed. I was expecting my FOO in February or March. I got it in November. 2) Combine that with Tesla Dramatically dropping their prices AND then qualifying for the tax credit caused some to jump ship. Buying a car is a timing purchase for many and many couldn't wait any longer. 3) Fisker botched the deliveries plain and simple. Mix all that up and here we are. Having said all of that though, the FOO is FANTASTIC and was well worth the wait. I look for reason to drive it.
What confuses me the most is how we can start off selling more cars (since we started) then any other ev comp ever and be at this stock price. Some wounds were self inflicted (a lot actually w that 10k). But currently being under 1 is a joke. Although Henrik over promised we still made a lot of revenue in two and half quarters of selling cars. Nissan is our last hope at moving the needle and to be honest I don’t think ws wants this to move. It’s a corrupt crim enterprise n nothing can tell me otherwise
I have watched your videos for a couple of months because I liked the way the vehicle looked and I especially liked the solar roof concept. However, there just seem to be too many problems for Fisker to survive the year. I get that you are trying to be optimistic and that you are heavily vested. Objectively, I don't see this ending well. Large numbers of people aren't going to risk buying a Fisker when they can't be confident that they will be able to get the vehicle serviced next year. That alone will send them to Tesla, Rivian, or other EV's. I really can't see a major company investing when they can likely get the technology later for pennies on the dollar through liquidation. I hope I am wrong but that is where it feels this is heading.
Fisker mgnt already stated the Nissan alliance is for the Alaska..the $ 1.2 billion in est Ocean revenue much more than needed to support Fisker in 2024..revenue heading to over $ 100 mil a month maybe in March / definitely in April.
@@oooohsnaaaap It's optional.. but requested model for many customers..it's environmentally friendly..add 1,200 miles times 100,000's of Oceans in 2025.
@2023gainer The alliance you speak of has not been finalized and is not likely to come to fruition. I think it is wishful thinking by Fisker. Really it is desperation thinking. When the 1st Quarter numbers are released they are likely to be so bad that the end will be more visible then. If this rumored alliance with Nissan is not finalized and announced before the 1st Quarter results that will tell you everything you need to know.
@2023gainer You are putting too much hope on this rumored alliance. I think it is wishful thinking and desperation by Fisker. If it doesn't become reality by the time the 1st Quarter Financials are announced it will be too late in my opinion. The numbers will be so bad at that point it will be unrecoverable.
Fisker has a special financing rate of 1.99% or greater for qualified buyers... They also just announced a $7500 discount for the month of March, but announced that they would not combine it with the 1.99% promotional financing rate. In my opinion they are missing out on the oppertunity to move the 2023 Models. The fact that anyone currently buying a Fisker Ocean does not qualify for the 7500 tax incentive, and with the high autoloan interest rates, theyre dropping the ball on a chance to ubdercut the competition and get their cars out there and visible. I posted this on the Fisker Instagram announcement and they HID the comment. With so many OVERPRICED EVs on the market coupled with impossible to get decent interest rates, these folks are going to be sitting on their inventory for a long time... Until reality sets in.
They lost $400,000,000 just like that. I don't see how they are going to right the ship. Henrik has no clue what he is doing. We see performance quarter after quarter. Nissan does not need Fisker. They have no clue what they are buying, Fisker designed very little. The detailed design is from Magna.
@Ocean1 I took your advice and watched your Fisker Ocean reviews. I think you were very fair, but I also think MKBHD was fair as well. I think in fairness the vehicle is promising but needs work., like any new vehicle. So to say MKBHD was biased or doesn't know what he is talking about is unwarranted. Fisker as a company is in a terrible space, survival is unlikely, especially with Rivian's newest releases. The problem Fisker has is that it is a small fish in a big pond. The company is trying to sell cars with only 17 dealers nationwide. The only thing most people know about the company is that CNN stated it issued a warning it might go out of business. Who in their right mind would want to buy a vehicle costing over $50,000, not knowing if the company would be around to service it?? Then who would invest more money into a company that has serious concerns about staying afloat. This idea that Nissan will be a White Knight, doesn't make a lot of sense for Nissan. Nissan could wait til Fisker goes bankrupt and buy its IP for pennies on the dollar. Secondly, Nissan isn't in a strong position to take serious chances on a company in a seriously bad position. I think the Auto Focus review, is potentially the nail in the coffin for Fisker. MKBHD has a very strong/solid reputation for calling it as he sees it. The video for the Fisker Ocean was Autofocus channel's most popular video ever. 4.3 million views on "This is the Worst Car I've Ever Reviewed", it doesn't get much worse than that. Anyone that is thinking about buying an Ocean, will probably have seen the video. In a follow-up to the video and responding to the outrage from some Fisker Fans, MKBHD stated on the WVFRM Podcast, that he and his crew spent a lot of time trying to get Fisker to provide them with a vehicle to review. They also had arranged for Fisker to do an update, but they failed to do so in a reasonable time. Fisker is the one who dropped the ball, but watch the video for yourself and judge. th-cam.com/video/gKO2heHxaM0/w-d-xo.html I like the looks of the Fisker Ocean, I was pleased that there was another EV brand for people to choose from. On the other hand, the Fisker Ocean is a new vehicle that has some issues. Hopefully, these issues can be worked out in time, so the company can be viable, but at this point, things don't look good. The solar roof is completely useless. Only adds about 11 miles per full charge at most. It's aesthetic value is more than it's power value.
